I didn't know where this would fit so I thought I'd put it here. I've already made a “Thank you for the music” message for Michael Jackson but, as I was listening to the song Cry earlier today, I felt like wanting to thank some people here.
I have really enjoyed coming here for the last few weeks (I've been posting on the boards since July 7th IIRC) because of the exchanges with other posters here – it is tremendously sad that people are brought together in tragedy ; I think, when the news came on June 25th, everybody “cried at the same time” (listen to the song, it describes our situation perfectly well). It kinda felt like the world stopped spinning for a day – people were gathering up everywhere, people were cheering together, crying together, hugging each other – I was born in 1991 and had never witnessed this kind of union before amongst people, unfortunately. It just makes you think how pointless some of the worst things are in this world – that it IS okay to be happy, that we all DESERVE it and that there is no need to go looking for drama, for that is NOT what infuses substance in life.
Anyway, I am learning something everyday here and communicating with people from all over the world. I really hope we can make something out of this massive questioning we are doing and I will try to continue investing myself as much as I can ; I thank you for doing the same and keeping some hope alive, even though we are prepared to face the worst, should it end up that way. Heck, we already did, didn't we ? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has already accepted it as it was ; that does not mean that the times for unanswered questions has gone. We just want to know the truth – and if anything, isn't that what Michael Jackson encouraged people to do ? So we already have achieved something here and I hope that wherever he is, he can find a sense of peace and accomplishment.
Thank you again. Just as you are, I'll keep trying my best. I don't think we are that insignificant ; after all, a river is composed of millions of tiny drops – otherwise, how could it flow ?

That's what I thought when I listened to the song a few days ago!!!
Yes, this tragedy has brought people together. People of different countries, age and and and. I guess he would like that.

Anna that was beautiful. I am listening to some of my favourite Michael ballards and am having what i call a bad day. Your so right, its a bloody sham it has taken 25/06/09 to show us what is really important. However it just goes to show how 'big' MIchael was/is. Would we be doing this for anyone else? I think not. Not even the world leaders can cause this amount of outpouring.
I have read alot of posts on here and i would also like to thank you for being part of this.
Lots of love

That's really beautiful!!!
And you right, we're being reminded in those moments of tragedies what's really important and what's life really about. It's about people and connections between them. That's all that matters after all!!! Love is the answer!!!

Lovely post Anna! I agree that we have all been brought together and whatever the outcome of all this turns out to be, that can only be a good thing. I really do think the people on this site are amazing and have kept me going through my low points and I feel I have made some really good friends who I hope to keep in contact with after this has all been wrapped up

Thank you for the beautiful post Anna,
I can't agree more! The moment I heard that MJ had died on the news. I went on my computer and started to google Michael Jackson death hoax. There are many out there. I am so thankful that I found this site. I for whatever reason I couldn't accept his death and still can't til this day. The Memorial Service sealed the deal for me. I knew something was up after July 7th. I need 100% proof or something. You all are a great and have investigative minds that can pull circumstances together. I must say that everyone that I have talked to where I am thought I was crazy for saying MJ is alive. I don't think I am crazy at all. Nobody in this area really cares about MJ. They listen to the media and buys into anything that's said. I knew better. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings. Keep the Faith! God Bless!
