Yep I believe this has been posted on the blog before.

It would be highly convenient if he faked his death, he could continue writing songs and making albums behind the scene and everyone would assume they'd been written ages ago,

A convenient source of income for his kids and himself for as long as he wanted to hide out.

And complete creative control without the stifling media pressure, just another reason to believe this was all a hoax.

it was really a great plan: in March he told from this 100 Songs and 3 month later he died?

Sad to do this, maybe it was the only way to have a quiet live….
