MJ's Will has a no contest clause…so if a legal battle ensues over the will, those who take part in it will get nothing. What do you think?

Jackson's Mom Keeps Option Open to Contest Will

Lawyers for Michael Jackson's mother Katherine filed legal papers setting the stage for a fight over the singer's estate.

Katherine's lawyers are not willing to accept that the will presented by Michael's lawyer, John Branca, is valid. In the papers, Katherine's lawyer writes about the “purported will” Branca filed.

Katherine's lawyers note that the 2002 will has a “no contest” clause, meaning anyone who mounts a legal fight over the will gets nothing.

Katherine's lawyers want a judge to decide if that clause would apply if she fights the appointment of the executors under the will.

Katherine's lawyers are hedging their bets, saying they are “continuing to collect and review relevant information.”

Well , yesterday they said she wanted full authority of 2,000 items out of His Neverland Home but his financial adivsor and someone else gets control of the estate … now , she will get nothing ??? does that mean the financial advisor and other person will not get anything , too ??

I haven't seen the “whole” will.

I wonder though, why Michael would only put his childrens care and property “in general” into his last will. Remeber: he owns copyrights! Of his own songs, of Beatles songs, of MJJ Productions a.s.o. Clever as IS he would never leave those subjects out of his last will. Just like those 100 unpublished songs (I know, meanwhile there are 200 or 800 or how-many-ever). These copyrights and the money resulting from them would be part of Michael's last will. Also, I didn't own only Neverland. He said in various interviews he owns several 'houses'. ………

Well for starters there has to be a valid death cert signed before they can do any legal precedings. Plus, Janet and Joe emptied that house out before his 'body' was cold (figuratively, of course). I'm sure anything that has value went in to that truck. There was proof of it the day after he died on CNN. So, I think Katherine is probably favored to get the estate. She's next of kin anyway.

Do not believe the hype. They were the first to announce his “death”.

I actually prefer videotaped interviews, for some reason… like the interview with his lawyer. Things like that. Makes more sense to what we already know and confirms it from a good source. Not like stuff being made up, right?
