hey guys something i've been curious about lately why does (or did) MJ always wear these little red string bracelets on his left hand? i've noticed it in so many of his photos and it's got me wondering

I was wondering too… I just know that Jews wear the red bracelet which is blessed by a rabbin, but member from the Kabbale like Madonna own it.

I don't really know, it was maybe a gift which he received in Israel ?

I also noticed red wristbands on performers for the memorial – some of the Jackson crew and other performers had it on (Stevie Wonder also, from memory).  You could see it under their sleeves as they lifted their arms and is clearly shown here

At the time I thought it was for security reasons – to be in the stage area as such, as ticket holders were given orange ones from memory.
