(Just to let everyone know, I had an entire rant I was writing was my browser screwed up. So what you read now is just a summary of what I was basically saying, and some of this comes from another post of mine).

To start, people have been complaining about MJ's death being covered too much from the media and we're not seeing enough about our fallen heroes in war. Well, all I have to say to you is they did the same thing with Elvis (and as much then if we had the same amount of technology). The only reason I see people talking down Michael's death in vein is because of his accusations. I'll cover more after these paragraphs….(again I’m just trying to rewrite what was deleted when my browser froze, so the next paragraph will get repetitive, sorry).

To the people talking trash about too much publicity over Michael's death…screw you. If we had as much technology when Elvis died, it'd be the same thing. When a legend dies, the world mourns. And don't bring that “oh the media should care more about the war and give tributes to them over MJ”. Have you not noticed that they rarely do that to begin with? Don't blame MJ. Quit giving him a bad name, even in death or “in peace”. Yes, something is wrong with our media when you only get a glance at the war and our fallen heroes and would rather rely on entertainment and what's going on HERE, but that's America for you. DON'T MAKE SOMEONE'S DEATH IN VEIN BECAUSE OF IT. MJ gave so much to the world, more than any of us could. If he never donated money, he probably would not be in debt. But guess what, that isn't what he was about.

His music was for the soul (no matter what race you are) and the world. Any rap/hip hop/pop/rock artists today would be nothing if it wasn't for Michael's music. He was one of the greats, if not the greatest. I remember Superbowl 2009 (maybe it was 08) maybe tribute to his Thriller song. You have to admit that without Elvis, Cash, Ozzy and Jackson…then music would have died. But we are lucky enough to live in a time that several LEGENDS were born to influence music so much. The only past musician/legend we heard about before this age is….Beethoven, right? (aside from Johnny Cash, Elvis, etc but they are 1900s)And that was in the 1700s. The 1900s created so much and I say we are lucky to see the King of Pop…no the King of music…live and die.

Back to MJ's supposed accusations. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the person come out recently (like right after MJ died and mentioned it two years ago) and say it was all false and his father told him to say those things? Not sure how young he was, but I doubt he correctly knew what the terms “anal”, “oral” and “cum” (just to name a few) exactly meant and how detailed he explained it made it sounds someone told him to say these things. And the second accusation (10 years later…2003, coincidence?) the kid was 13. All I really have to say is even if some sexual acts were involved, he would have known better. He's 13 for goodness sake. Why would he wait so long to make the accusations? And didn't he have cancer and Michael was taking care of him? It wasn't because MJ was a pervert; it was because he had morals and a heart. A lot of joe shmoes would call it being a pervert because I guess they can't understand that close of relationship between a child (well, teen >>) and an adult unless they are your son or nephew. Is it too hard to consider or believe that an older man caring for someone younger is not in any way sexual? Especially one that has given A LOT of his money to charities dedicated to the homeless/diseases poverty? His donations were not some kind of cover up to sleep with children.

Yes it was weird when he held his new born baby over the balcony (he was merely showing off his new child, which is more than likely his actual OWN blood). He obviously was not in a right state of mind (remember, he was taking sedatives probably due to medical problems, not addiction). We even see someone else laughing with him. But I just saw it as showing his child to the public, he did have  DEATH GRIP on( MJ junior? or was he II?) aka Blanket for short (and we can all agree Blanket looks a lot like Michael).

And yes it was also weird that he had children sleep in the same bed as him, but our politically correct society saw that has literally sleeping (having sex with) with children. And I find it very hypocritical that everyone will believe these tabloids saying he was a child molester but also deny facts. That is a whole another argument though. But anyways, just because some children sleep in the same house or same room or even same bed (no matter how weird, and MJ was weird…normal is overrated) never meant he actually performed sexual acts against them. Is it also so hard to believe he wanted an adult childhood when he hardly had a real one himself? Come on, we all are guilty of being an adult, whether its partying like you're still 17 years old, playing video games, goofing off and even for a moment not caring for what tomorrow brings you? That is how children act, living for the day. MJ was went really far with it and was actually finally able to afford his own amusement park (he never went to those unless he performed, and if he did it was very rare and definitely not with his family).

The Jackson 5 was a music given to us from God. And with that gift there are also sacrifices, by them. There is not much other artists that had to perform/practice/have constant studio time by the age of 5. Music was his gift and burden.

So what gives everyone the right to criticize him for giving his life to music and the world when all they see is false accusations and weird behavior? Try having a camera follow you 24/7 to find the smallest flaw within you and exploit for all its worth. Anyone with half a brain will realize the charges pressed on him were false. (No I am not another person thinking cops frame rich black people like OJ Simpson, Mike Vick, and DMX). Here are some reasons why….Mike Vick is still prison. DMX is as well. OJ Simpson was a very complicated case that didn't have enough evidence to take him down. It was not because he was famous. I dare any of you to look up celebrity arrests…Thing is with MJ…there is more evidence pointing to his innocence that there is of him being guilty. NO DNA evidence, only two kids (10 years apart) claiming this man that gave his home to them and their family, actually touched them in inappropriate ways. I mean, come on now…

Why would MJ settle for money when he has a conviction that could put him in prison for possibly life? He never got convicted; paying someone off in court is not like a bail bond. Not pay now do time later kind of thing. Each family accepted and I believe proposed the idea of a money settlement. Any person with actual morals would not let a child rapist go free over a few million dollars. MJ wanted to avoid extensive court costs by doing this (think about, any normal person would be paying nearly a million for court fees if they were to fight a child molestation case on themselves, it's treated as bad as murder.) If MJ was proven of any of these acts, he would have served PLENTY OF time in prison.

See this isn't even being skeptical, seeing how all charges were dropped. The skeptics over his accusations believe he did it, and to those guys…please if you can, show me proof that MJ did in fact molest the children that he was merely having fun with aka making up his childhood with. It is just sad. MJ was the biggest..”pimp” I should say in the 80s….just look at Thriller (lol hell even everyone that hates HIM says his old music was either good or legendary).

As quoted by an anonymous source.

“It doesn't matter what one does with their private life. If they have influenced you in any good sense whether as a mentor, teacher or if you've been influenced by them in any way to do better with your life, then that is all that matters.”

This is actually a common quote used with Doctors. A lot have a bad reputation these days (alcoholism or wtvr), but if they can achieve their life goals and still provide advice without their private life affecting them, then that is someone you'd think twice before writing them off as nothing.

And that is what MJ did for not only the music culture but I also believe our culture today.

I just do NOT see how we can profit of a man's death. Especially one that has given so much to this world. (fun fact :  MJ would not have been so much in debt if he had not donated so much of his money throughout the year, oh and isn't in the Guinness book of world records for most charitable donation by a musician?). He had his head on straight; he was rich and gave his riches….to the poor, to the sick, to the homeless, the children and even back into his music.

So before anyone even thinks about taking about his death in vein, maybe they should look twice at their life. MJ did what he enjoyed best, making music and reaching out the people. He is the greatest music prodigy that has lived and gave dedicated his life to everyone, whether you're a fan or not or knew him personally or not.

I can safely say he was one of the few that did it for the money, fame and drugs. He didn't need drugs to become that great (although we'll never truly know of his habits during the 80s, the cocaine frenzy). He donated the money he made and used his own money to make his OWN videos (yes he wrote his own songs too, he didn't lip sync..only sometimes while performing live but to his own voice). He enjoyed the fame, like we all would, but when it got too real, it really got to him. Fame was one thing he could not handle. There is a reason why he hired doubles, used masks and etc. Even though I guess making music for fans but not entirely for fame may be contradicting itself. But the media ate him alive, more than any other celebrity and that was when he probably realized fame wasn’t everything (listen to his song “Leave Me Alone”).

*sigh* sorry I have been ranting and its late…please reply or you agree or disagree with what Iam trying to say (even if it’s somewhat belligerent, it’s late…I’m buzzed). But no hate comments, thanks. I'll try and add more and get back to my original point after a break). As I said earlier, a lot what I wrote before got deleted when my browser got interrupted so I started over and missed out on some points I originally had.

well i agree with you the media n the papraazi made his life hell. even his autobiography n his song leave me alone weren't enough for these bastards to let him live his life peacefully. they were jealous. please no offence. but the american media is racist, the british media is racist. they criticised MJ just because he is a black artist n they couldn't  digest the fact that a black artist is getting world-wide fame n popularity. they made his life hell when his skin turned white. his eyes n his smile r innocent enough to tell u what type of person he is from inside. if he said he has undergone 2 plastic surgeries people should have believed him but they didn't believe him. they always put him in bad light. he made record charities, toured the world only to fund his charities, he gave the world so much but what did the world give him back in return? insults, humiliations, being ridiculed all the time 'cause he was trying to regain his childhood, calling him whacko jacko n all? rightfully marlon said- ” how much could one take?” if he's finding peace now wherever he is then i'm happy for him.

First of all, I think that nowadays, there's something really wrong with the media, ESPECIALLY in America and in the UK. Thankfully, we're a bit sheltered from the tabloid culture here in France – but it's growing bigger by the year.

Journalists don't question the validity and legitimity of anything any more : they just TELL whatever they're given and whatever will sell. They don't know how to present facts anymore and they don't even check where the facts come from.
That's why it's always advised to check different media outlets when it comes to one piece of information – extract the infos given, filter and analyse ourselves : that's how we develop a critical mind ; which is paramount if we want to function as a democracy.

Second, when it comes to the hate and media persecution of Michael Jackson throughout most of his career, I'll say one word : JEALOUSY. Funny too how they barely mentioned that the man has given over 200 million $ to charities and visited ill children in hospitals very often – as well as welcoming them into Neverland.

Why the jealousy ? Michael Jackson was one of the biggest world icons ; and probably the biggest entertainer to date. He generated billions of dollars…. yet still managed NOT to be a rotten human being. That makes some people grind their teeth. And makes them think that he was meek so why not take advantage of that, in their own minds ?

Hell, even his own FAMILY was money and attention hungry. Both Latoya and Jermaine did not back him up during the molestation allegations (which I think must have been devastating : you never come back from that and they obviously false claims made by greedy people who used their kids for, what again.. ? MONEY ! Is that ALL that drives these people ? This is SICK) and I'm thinking Jermaine always had resentment/jealousy towards his brother. That guy REEKS of issues : come on, one of his kids is named JERMAJESTY! That tells you everything you need to know about the guy.

“With such confusions, don’t it make you wanna scream ?”
