Kenny Ortega: We were here less than a week ago and Michael was with us.

(MJ “died” 25 June and Kenny states on July 7th they were there less than a week ago??? )

Kenny O: We were all here,we were family and this was his house.

So, when the Jackson family and Randy Philips

asked Ken to help put together this memorial

we knew we had to do it here,

we knew we had to invite to join us here…

We can see Mj´s last rehearsal photo with the This is it letters on the background.

We were immediately surrounded by countless family, artists and friends

and dear hearts, who inconditionally made this day possible.

As we came together as a team

we knew we had to celebrate Michael´s life through his music

and his passing (synonims for passing: decease, defunction, demise, dissolution, end, finish, loss, silence, sleep, termination)

Both Ken and I worked with  Michael over the years

and Michael and I were here in the final stages of mounting

what we all knew and we all saw

I promise you,

was his triumphant return to the world

It was also,it was also,I think

his greatest personal work.

We did it all night,

all in this stage of Staples,

so before we conclude today´s memorial

we wanted to present a performance from the London This is It Concerts,

the fans have been asking for it.

This was one of Michael´s very, very favorites moments of the show always.

He created this and brought it to life.

It is a living testament of his ability of being timeless and timely

musical and magic.

This is for him  his living legacy, his care, his heart, his concerns about our planet, about the human condition.

MJ will live in our hearts forever,

Heal the World,

make this a better place

for our children,

for our children´s children.

Jermain says thank you to everybody and then Marlon Jackson speaks and tells the audience about the day when he went to the record store and there was this man purchasing a lot of CDs and he would go and grab another pack of CDs. He was an older gentleman. He had short afro, but crooket teeth and his clothes were rampled. I walked right behind him and said: “Michael, what are you doing in this store?”

He turned to me and said:”Marlon,how did you know it was me?”

I told him:”You are my brother, I can spot you anywhere regardless of  your make-up.

I know your walk, I know your body language and those shoes did not help.

Michael wore the same shoes, wherever he went.But I guess that was his way of trying to experience what we take for granted.

We will never understand what he endured:

Not being able to walk  across a street without a crowd gathering around him.

Being judged, ridiculed. How much pain can one take.

Maybe now,Michael, they will leave you alone.

(Janet says yes with her head)

….Michael I love you.

You know the Lord has a purpose for everything.

and sometimes we just can´t see it or understand it.

But it will be clear to us

when we reach that ultimate,ultimate reward of being in his prescense.

And Michael you´re there,you´re there.

You have finished your work here on Earth

and the Lord has called you to go home with him.

So, I thank you Michael, I thank you for all the smiles,

That you placed in many people´s hearts and I thank you for everything you have done.

Two days after, after the media realized how much he was loved by his fans all around the world, they started to smooth down and started to talk about his music, the genius, his legacy, his Thriller. of course, mxed with all the “overdose” and “drug abuse” topic, which was sated frst by the familiy´s lawyer Mr. Oxman and then reinforced by Deepak Chopra and Uri Geller.

With so many threads you probably missed it, but yes, this last slide is key as I have said.

In Librarian Girl, he directs the whole thing which includes very well known actors (for that time) and he

sits above them all without any of them realising it.  It has been asked why so many of the presentors

and family members at the memorial kept looking up.

It's like he directed the whole thing – but on a much BIGGER scale. You know Michael, always bigger, better – for the thrill.

I still stand by this.

Just watched that video again – there are credits for all who “unwittingly” starred in it.

At 5.14 is David Copperfield – a magician

immediately followed by (and get this):

An unidentified PATIENT with a “?” in place of a name where the credit should be.

Firstly, let me also thank Alfaomega for a wonderful job. The forum has been crazy today with posts barely visible and a couple of mine are still MIA lol but I think it's better for the moment.

Yes, there may be something in that – hide you gladness (that he pulled it off) by “showing” sadness to the world (at the memorial, at least by the family et al) so that the world beliieves it?

One thing I do know – Michael DID love his family first, his FANS SECOND.  Regardless of what anyone may think of La Toya, what she said there is 100% true.  He took care of his family (and they do know). He's trying to let us know he did this, and that things will be OK.

My first post on this site was about Marlon's speech about the disguises and shoes. I felt this was the strongest message of the memorial, letting us know he could be walking amongst us anywhere, lord knows, he certainly is capable of doing that we would be none the wiser. His life was spent having to “get ready” before stepping out, he would be quite the expert now.

Just my 2c, it think it's up 6c now,LOL.
