I just watched this video and thought that I shared with you. Here, when MJ was asked where he would go to be anonymous. Perhaps he is hiding somewhere in an island writing.

That adds up with my assumption: he would not stage his death, just to get away from it all and to live a quiet life in privacy.
If this really is a hoax, it was surely planned for other reasons…

I think he had to escape from money-makers and medias……
Someone was after his life…. his money and his Beatles-catalog….
He had to escape.. and this i NOT just a game for him… i think..

I agree, this hoax wasn't planned for fun and profit. If he's in hiding, let's hope that he stays there. If there were indeed sinister forces and/or shadow operatives seeking to eliminate him, he can't be too careful.
I'd love to see MJ back , rocking it again, but if it means risking his life, it's not worth it. I want him alive and well, even if that means he's disappeared for good.

I feel MJ did this to get away from it all. I said it earlier on a thread. I thought MJ had planned a hoax to go into hiding. He did have alot more on his plate that we weren't award of as fans. Somehow, he thought he had to make it happen for whatever reason we may never come to know. When I said this some fan on this forum called me INSANE because MJ would never walk away from his kids. As if they knew him on personal level. None of us did! Wherever he is I just pray that he is safe. He may come back but we won't know it's him. He will be disguised! The man wanted and desired a normal life. Keep the Faith!

I think there are 100s of reasons on why he would do it, from money to the media to death threts…looks like were just gonna have to wait to find out
