He took a picture of Mike in the ambulance, but he couldent see inside it. DOH!!!! What a crock.

Just watched the ambulance video again (link below).

VERY strange.   At the beginning of you hear what sounds like the guy with the camera (who I believe is the buddy of Chris Weiss) say, “we don't know if he's DEAD or not” —— WTF?

That's kind of a stupid / strange thing to say, now isn't it?    Why would anyone automatically consider MJ being “dead”?   Just because an ambulance goes to someone's home doesn't mean they're carting them away dead does it?

And I would *think* that nobody on the inside (body guards, MJ staff) would have come out of the gate to “tell paparazzi” they MJ might be dead.

Interesting that the guy has worked in the past as an EMT.  He would know perfectly, then, how to help “stage”a fake pic of MJ or MJ double — hey?

right, he had body guards and staff in his home Im guessing,,,he also has friends and children WHY automaticly assume it was Michael?

I just thought it was strange that at that point no picture has been taken (apparently) but yet he was sure it was Michael. I mean it could be genuine and as it is Michael's house he may have just assumed. However, I think it goes a lot deeper than that.

well if the photographer (or video person) is all part of it (and I believe he might be), he needs to get lessons on how to talk to the media. Ironic. I saw the interview of him a while back and thought, its just not right.  Now sometime on and I know its not right.  Its all staged.  People knew too much to soon.  Before the ambulance even came out of the property.  Did I read he saw the call out from the window of the ambulance …50 year old man…not breathing?  When did he manage to see this sorry?  forgive me if I am stating the obvious, I may have missed that info. He wouldn't be the only person MJ would help out of this. Remember the little kid that sang at the memorial? He was to perform with MJ in London but obvioulsy won't now. But he still got the exposure at the memorial and signed a recording contract a few days later.

For the record: Who made the picture of the 911-call on the ambulance screen and more important: when was that taken? I don't see anyone taking that pic on the video….

For starters: It is always easy to review / comment an article from a certein perspective. Like we do: Up front we don't believe a single word he says in this interview. That way, you can always find something that in your opinion doesn't add up to the information we already have.
In other words: It's hard to be objective. But then again: who cares? What is the fun in that? We're here for a single reason: We don't believe the story told.

So… in that light, I read the interview. Here my remarks and questions:

The pictures: Weird, seeing the pictures I assume he met Michael at least a few times, yet he doesn't mention it in his interview. Would seem like something special to anyone, esspecially if you're a pap following MJ around for a living. What he does mention is his relationship with the wonderful fans and how he has learned from them how special Michael was. I consider it weird, if you have experienced it from first hand as well. Let me put it this way: I'd brag about it!

The interview:

“On June 25, National sent a photographer named Alfred Ibanez to the house. Just after noon, Ibanez called Evenstad, panicked: “There is an ambulance here. Get your video camera and get here now.””
“…On the way to the scene, Evenstad called Weiss and the rest of his photographers on their cell phones, ordering them to Jackson’s house immediately…”

So, at the scene there were Ibanez, Evenstad, Weiss and even more photographers present, yet all we have is 1 video of the ambulance backing up, a video made out of the passing buss (not even made by National's) and the (two!) last pictuers of Michael in the ambulance?
There must be more footage made at the scene that day, if you ask me.

“… Ibanez had zoomed in through the window of the fire truck with his telephoto lens and snapped a picture of the call screen, which provided a few details about the situation inside. At this point, Weiss’s experience as an E.M.T. came in handy. He read from the digital image: “50-year-old male … not breathing … ””

Seems to me the call screen is text-based. You don't neet EMT to read text I suppose.
Guess someone should take a look how that screen fits inside a firetruck. Not sure about this, but I believe it to be in the middle, back facing the window. If it isn't built in. Not sure how visible it is from a distance and if you can take a decent picture of it, even with a telelens.

“…The National photographers jumped in two cars that followed the Jackson entourage’s two blue Escalades that followed the screaming ambulance to the emergency room at U.C.L.A. medical center—and by then, TMZ and other paps were on the scene…”

and before that in the interview: “….“We were there for 20 minutes,” he says..” (he = Weiss)

So: Ibanez called Evenstad there was an ambulance at the mansion. Evenstad called Weiss and his collegues to immediatly go there, so Weiss  “…raced 7.9 miles to Jackson’s.”, which will take you, turbo speed, about 10 to 15 minutes. Then they were there for 20 minutes, Weiss said in the interview.  SO we are talking far over 30 minutes the ambulance was at the mansion, before it leaves to UCLA.

Weiss states he jumped in a car and followed the ambulance to UCLA. There, other paps and TMZ are already present.

My question is:  If other paps were at the hospital when National's arrived, why weren't there any of them at the mansion? I don't know the distance between the mansion and UCLA, but if National's has more than one photographer working for them, so must other agencies? And if there were that many paps at UCLA, where are their pictures, reports, video's?

About those screaming sirens: All I have seen is the ambulance backing up slowly. Maybe it turned on it's sirens after it left the mansion?
