Read the article below … quite interesting:
Did Michael Jackson, a master of disguises, recruit a double as a diversion during last week's media invasion?
Lane Lassiter, a longtime local Jackson impersonator, has a hunch that's what Jackson's handlers had in mind when they met with him recently.
Lassiter met backstage with Jackson's representatives about two weeks ago. He was asked if he would be available for an unspecified job.
“They came upstairs after the show and said they liked the picture I sent them,” said Lassiter. He found it unusual that they didn't attend the show.
“They didn't tell me any more than I needed to know,” said Lassiter, a 12-year veteran of the Riviera's “An Evening at La Cage.”
A Jackson impersonator since 1979, Lassiter, a 43-year-old father of two, claims he was the lone Jackson act who wasn't axed in Las Vegas 10 years ago when Jackson was in the middle of another child molestation scandal.
The existence of a double has been suspected since TV coverage captured His Weirdness up to something at the Henderson Executive Airport on the day of his return from Santa Barbara. With blankets held up to block the view, Jackson was seen getting in and out of a vehicle and going back into the plane. Seconds later someone who appeared to be Jackson came out the plane door and got back into the car.
Suspicious minds believe that a double came out of the plane and was in the car that went on the circuitous three-hour route to Green Valley Ranch. That bit of chicanery would have allowed the real Jackson to be spirited off to another location.

I don't know…I can immediately tell it's not MJ…MJ has this “light” emminating from him, and you don't feel it with the double…you feel a void/dullness. Plus the double looks OVERLY made up and too long of a face.

interesting! mike had quite a few good doubles, he could've easily hired one of them to act as a distraction while he took off to god knows where
btw the real michael is a lot better looking than any of his doubles

This may be a real clue here. Like said upthread, I have looked at dozens and dozens of MJ doubles and Lane is by far the most convincing. If I didnt know it wasnt MJ – especially that 1985 shot, at FIRST glance I thought it was him, then I looked closer and could see that the nose wasnt 100% MJ's but he has a lot of same bone, head and body structure as MJ. Hmmmmmm – What if he was the 02 Guy?

ahh a good makup-artist could create him better looking, but his own used makeup is to much. But if i think about beeing a Imposter for MJ, i would regular use my own makeup and make it look unprofessional, just for my shows as a lookalike, but for him working i would do a better makeup, a professional one.
I see a lot of pictures in his profil where he looks so damn like MJ

wow, eerily similar! i think at an angle or with michael's most recognizable features covered (his eyes and mouth), this guy could easily pass for michael. ESPECIALLY at a distance! it may have very well been him in the ambulance. i'm gonna look around and see if there are any pics where he has that stressed vein in his forehead…

He needs that much make up because he is naturally darker skinned as michaels skin got paler as he got older so the lookalike has lots of paler makeup on to disguise his own skin colour

Is this the real Michael? With the other photos how do we know they haven't been photoshopped? That's the problem with everything I don't know what's real any more.

that's not the real michael. you can always tell by the eyes, nose and mouth. when one is covered, just look at another. in this pic, his mouth is too small.

I've just read that Lassiter as Michael Jackson was 'let go' by the Riviera in February 2009, plenty of time to start working with Michael or more wishful thinking?

Lane Lesser's race is “black”, he also has dark skinned kids. But in his photos he has white skin just like MJ. Does he has Vertiligo too? Or he just bleaching his skin?
