Does anyone know if any of the Osmonds were at the memorial service?

Good Question – I don't think they were … we would may have seen Donny there ….

No they were not. Michael once talked to Donny in the early 80's. He asked Michael how to restart his career. THIS IS THE TRUTH

Michael told him to change his last name and reinvent himself. Which he did………without changing the last name……….he came out with Soldier of love…….that topped the charts. He also released the song with no name for the artist. Then the video came out and it was a new Donny. New haircut …..new clothes…..up to date.

Blessed are those who see and believe. More blessed are those who do not see and still believe.

According to several articles I've read, Michael also called Donny in the midst of the 2005 allegations.  Prior to the trial, MJ bought/rented (can't remember which) a motor home and took the kids along with his security detail out into the Arizona desert.  He called Donny to speak w/ him about what was going on and begged him to not tell anybody where he was.  Michael was hiding from the media and what they were doing to him and the kids before this actually hit the courts.  From what I've read, it seems that Donny and Michael remained good friends.  So, then, is it shocking that none of the Osmonds were at MJ's memorial service?  Not.

BTW, Shickster, I do love Soldier of Love!

Donny and Michael had been friends since they were 13 yrs. He was interveiwed by Lara Spencer in the attached link. He didn't attend the Memorial Service and at the time of the interview he hadn't spoken to the family. He said MJ was pressured to surpass Thriller and it caused him alot of stress. He also said they were scheduled to collaborate on a song Stevie Wonder had written. Stevie wanted them to sing together. Around the time his last trial started eveything came to a halt. MJ told Donny he had to go back out and they never got back to it again. I am telling you that last trial did something to MJ that we will never understand as his fans. Think about it? He left the country! Keep the Faith!

yeah, I know about that. i like that song too.  I know Donny said Michael called him.  Donny asked him where he was, apparantly Michael was in Arizona.  He told Donny he couldn't say where because he wanted to get away from it all. Donny told him to go to utah

Mike and Donny were supposed to do a song together.  But Michael called him and said he had to back out cause the trial was about to get ugly.  Donny and Michael…..my two puppy loves
