It has been said that some of the family wants him buried at Neverland Ranch (and details are coming that they may be able too). It is possible that they are waiting on confirmation. MJ's body is not “lost” as CNN has been putting it. It is in safe keeping witht the family. Some could argue he has yet to be buried because he is not dead, well the familty wants the best for MJ. Although there is a lot of interesting stuff going around here (mainly the deal with Peterpan account and MJ's messages, and his supposed message after death).
Yeah its taking a while for MJ's burial, you have to remember his death was unexpected. People argue that Farrah Fawcett's funeral/burial took under 2 weeks. Well yeah, that is because she had cancer and was expected to die. Michael's death came as sudden as a nuclear explosion in a poplular city would. Same thing with Elvis.
And to the people talking trash about too much publicity over Michael's death…screw you. If we had as much technology when Elvis died, it'd be the same thing. When a legend dies, the world mourns. And don't bring that “oh the media should care more about the war and give tributes to them over MJ”. Have you not noticed that they rarely do that to begin with? Don't blame MJ. Quit giving him a bad name, even in death or “in peace”. Yes, something is wrong with our media when you only get a glance at the war and our fallen heroes and would rather rely on entertainment and what's going on HERE, but that's America for you. DON'T MAKE SOMEONE'S DEATH IN VEIN BECAUSE OF IT. MJ gave so much to the world, more than any of us could. If he never donated money, he probably would not be in debt. But guess what, that isn't what he was about.
His music was for the soul (no matter what race you are) and the world. Any rap/hip hop/pop/rock artists today would be nothing if it wasn't for Michael's music. He was one of the greats, if not the greatest. I remember Superbowl 2009 (maybe it was 08) maybe tribute to his Thriller song. You have to admit that without Elvis, Cash, Ozzy and Jackson…then music would have died. But we are lucky enough to live in a time that several LEGENDS were born to influence music soo much. The only past musician we here about before this age is….Beetoven, right? And that was in the 1700s. The 1900s created so much and I say we are lucky to see the King of Pop…no the King of music…live and die.
Sorry if I ranted, a mod is more than welcome to move this (last two paragraphs) to a more appropiate location.
