Ok so I may be clutching at straws here but never mind, I will say it anyway! I've been watching the O2 press conference a lot lately and there is something that has been really bugging me.
Michael loved his fans and he told us all the time how much he loved us. However at the O2 “Michael” (and I say that with quote marks as I don't believe it was Michael!) kept reiterating it. In fact he said “I love you. I really do, you have to know that. I love you so much. Really. From the bottom of my heart”.
I don't know why but I get the feeling that Michael was trying to communicate to us just how much he loved us because he knew he wouldn't get to say it again. I was watching the press conference live with my family and I said to them that something felt strange about it. It was almost like Michael was gone and he was trying to say goodbye.
Anybody else agree or am I officially crazy?!

I agree, I thought that immediately the first time I saw it. I thought that it was rather strange, because even though he always said how much he loved us he sounded maybe just a little desperate to make us REALLY understand that he REALLY did. It was unlike any way I've ever heard him say it before.

in my oppinion this conference wasn't done with the real mj..
so all behaviour was completley strange for me.

One thing that occured to me tonight was the whole O2 announcement conference seemed so cheesey. For Michael to announce a comeback series of concerts it was an extremely… low budget and amatuer production. I remember watching the news blurb back in March and being really not impressed and thinking, this is his comeback annoucement? Seemed very weak and frankly boring for MJ.

Although I am a huge fan, I have to admit I don't know every mannerisms the way others here do, but when they show him getting out of the van and walking to the golf cart, that just looks like a 25 year old DUDE walking (if you know what I mean), and not Michael's walk to me.

Hey! You had just hit the jackpot of what I was thinking exactly when I was watching the O2 video..Words such as “You have to know that” feels strange. And the fact that he repeated the words “really” adds on to the strangeness. Just like what Tenderoni had mentioned, he sounded a little more desperate than usual trying to deliver the “message of love”. Either he had a very good 6th sense or like what we said, a hoax.. The tone is not right there, though. It did sound as though he KNOWS he is going to leave everyone and not able to say this again. To sum it up, it feels like a “farewell” msg.

Yes exactly! I have seen countless videos of Michael's and never have I seen him walk all gangster like! It just felt weird from the off.

I'm so glad that other people also believe his. It's comforting in a way to know that Michael wanted us to know how much he loved us. As I said before I don't believe it was Michael at the O2 arena but I DO believe that he asked whoever it was impersonating him to really convey that message and he did.

LOL… I wonder how many times did the O2 guy rehearse before taking on the MJ role. (If he is really an “impersonator”). But nonetheless, whatever it is, its a consoling message. The O2 guy may be a fake, but the message is REAL.

Yes I noticed that as well! And also when he first came out and people were yelling “This is it, This is it!” and he did the punching air thing. I've never seen Michael do that! Everything screams impostor to me! There was definitely something uneasy about him….

OK yea, me, too. But, again, I hadn't been following MJ for the past few years (since after the trial), so I am definitely not an expert on his recent mannerisms, but I thought that was so odd–punching the air like that? IF it was Michael, then he HAD to be doped up because nothing about that entire conference makes sense to me otherwise!

Without a doubt, if it can be proved it was Michael he was either doped up or drunk or something. The whole thing just wasn't his style. He is known for being cool and smooth and this guy couldn't even walk properly!
