Jackson Not High on Drugs, Lawyer Says
Posted Jul 18th 2009 8:30AM by TMZ Staff
Thomas Mesereau -- the formidable criminal defense lawyer who scored a huge victory for Michael Jackson in the 2005 child molestation trial, says he never saw evidence that Jackson was on drugs.
Messereau was leaving Madeo restaurant in L.A. last night, at the same time Harvey Levin was leaving. H.L. asked the legendary lawyer about drugs, the famous pajama incident at the trial, and why so many doctor's were listed as defense witnesses.

MJ was never a 'druggie'. So people can lay off of THAT theory. He was addicted to pain meds, which he went into rehab for, but that's as far as it goes. Just my two cents!

I don't believe he was an addict either but you guys come on, Mesereau is a lawyer who defended MJ, do you really think he'd be badmouthing him now after his “death”? Of course he's going to say he never saw Michael on drugs, even if he did.

I wonder if they will play that Interview on any of the mainstream news stations. Since they do take many of their story's from TMZ.

Just because he was Michael's lawyer doesn't mean his just saying nice things about him. 1993 and 2005 some of his staff testified against him, and now some “friends” are saying he was an addicted.
But I don't think he was addicted to anything.

Very good post.
I could NEVER see MJ as a drug addict.
He loved life/his children/fans/family to ever do any of those things.
This is my little theory about the drugs and his doctor and stuff.
It was mentioned on here that someone interviewed one of his nurses and she said that his veins were small so they would bruise easily from injection. and she never saw any injection marks on him while giving him his vitamins or whatever. Someone also said something along the lines that he was afraid of needles?
So than why would “They” (meaning press/media/any source really lol) say that his autospy showed needle injections all over his body and not bruises? (maybe they did and I missed it….)
Also Michael never wanted to die.
He loved life just like any of us.
So to me, he wanted his doctor there to monitor him at all times to make sure he had the right amount of dosage of any of his medications he had.
Why would he have a doctor in his home if he was a drug addict?
Those are just some of my thoughts

That went through my head as well. I doubt it. all they want is the nasty stuff. so it takes away the attention from their own nasty stuff which is mostly more real than enything ever said about Michael.#
Most people who yell about Michael being a child molester obviously have more than one skeleton hidden in their very own closet.
And that`s not just my 2 cents it is also well known fact.
He never had anything to do with such things. NEVER!

Thomas Mesereau is a trustable man.
He accepted to write the prologue of Aphrodite Jones book “Michael Jackson´s Conspiracy” only after checking that this woman was writing the truth inside the courtroom and not only because she wanted to make some quik bucks.
He is a trustable source.
Well done!

He SO is! I am SO GLAD you too agree!
It would be ever so nice to see some more interviews like this one and more of that kind out there in the mainstream media.
Though I guess there may be more interest in seeing pictures of his “corpse” than anything else related to the truth in that matter. Sad
