I really think that they should leave Blanket alone too…I wish the exploitation of Michael Jackson's kids would stop.

It was one of the biggest mysteries of Michael Jackson's life and has lingered since his sudden death — just who is the mother of his youngest child? Now, after weeks of investigation, sources tell Star in a world exclusive that Blanket's mom is Pia Bhatti.

In our Aug. 3 issue — on sale now — we have the first photo of the one-time dental hygienist, who lives with her husband in a graffiti-riddled suburb of Oslo, Norway — miles from the glitz and glamour that surrounded the late singer — and refuses all requests for interviews.

“Pia was sworn to secrecy about Blanket,” says one close Jackson source. “Michael always liked the mystique. He never wanted anyone to know the truth about any of his children.”

So who brought together Michael and Pia? Her son, Omer, who dazzled Michael with his moonwalk in 1996 and became so close to the pop legend that within weeks the boy was touring with the singer. The pair often dressed alike, and for years Michael even claimed Omer was his son.

No one will officially confirm that Pia is Blanket’s mom, the source continues. “But you only had to see her with Blanket. She treated him as her own for one very good reason — he is.”

Somehow I think if MJ entrusted you to have a kids for him (by him or donor).  Would you keep it a secret? Even agter he dies or dissapears?  Maybe its agreed somewhere that when the kids become of age, they will find out who their real parents are then.  That's THEIR personal information.  MJ grew up in the media's eye, he had no choice.  But no one has the right over these kids. The right to know everything about them.  I think when you choose an industry such as TV/music, you have to expect to be followed and hounded for every bit of info on your waking and sleeping moments.  But I persoanlly don't think that it should be open dibs for kids.

They're just assuming, because her kid looked similar to blanket at 7 years of age.

I agree completely. It saddens me that the news media, and tabloids are going after his children. As if they don't have other stories to cover. These poor children just lost their father (presumably), which in itself is one of the worst things a human being can go thru. Then to add all of the questions about their paternity into the mix, trying to get their pictures, talking to anyone and I mean anyone just so they can make up a story makes me sick. As these kids get older, they will have access to all of these articles and questions and hopefully as adults will take it with a grain of salt. But for god-sake, just leave them alone and let them be kids. The reporters keep saying the family needs to do what is best for his kids but you know what – the reporters need to take their own advice and stop going after them. Michael was their father, regardless of biology. Anyone can “father” a child, but it takes a real man and a real father to raise one.
