I don't know why either because I am usually such a rational person! Yet I find myself wanting to check up for the latest information constantly and it's starting to scare me! Take now for example. It's 1.46am in the UK and I should either be tucked up in bed fast alseep or out partying with my friends yet I'm here on MJHD! I don't think I have ever spent so more time on my laptop.
Please tell me other users are doing the same or I am committing myself to the nearest asylum

*nods* I am obsessed too, and not just with this site.. Its anything MJ.. I find myself searching for TV shows on MJ I didnt see or havent seen in many many years, interviews, music videos, the list goes on.. I dont allow anything else to play on my car stereo and use my blackberry music (of MJ of course) to wake up to instead of my boring old radio alarm clock. I think if the white coats are coming for anyone, its me… I cant get interested in watching anything else on TV, my family definitely thinks Im off my rocker, but whatever… I guess Im a MJ Junkie… Wanna start up MJ anonymous with me anyone?

yes..suddenly I'm staying up all hours of the night and paying for it the next day when I'm exhausted. Perhaps I'm just not mentally ready for the pain of loss so this activity blocks it out. Or it's fun to feed the fantasy we all share of him returning.
I can't stop watching this video on youtube. It is shear perfection. The stage presence & charisma is like nothing we will ever see. You can tell he put a lot of thought in this to make it perfect. He had people screaming before he even did anything. And at this point, he was already past 40!

Wow, amazing!!!!!!!!
There's Macaulay Culkin in the audience 5:24, which confirms to me that they were friends even up until recently.
Yes, to the original question. You all have probably read how my husband is constantly telling me to STFU about MJ because that's all I talk about. And it's all I listen to. And a huge chunk of my workday is spent driving, so I'm literally listening to MJ all day long.

No, You're not the only one. If you should be commited then we all should be committed because it's not an obsession to want to find the truth.

I am doing the same thing. I find myself staying up till 3 am reading this site, watching his video's or listening to his music. I've even been dreaming about it all. I have no idea why this is affecting me the way it is. I never thought the death of a “celebrity” could affect me this way. I used to joke with my elders about how the death of Elvis affected them….and now it's our reality.

Yeah, and Elvis wasn't half the humanitarian or any of the thousand other qualities that Michael is.

Yeah, i`ll admit I have a serious obsession with this site and anything MJ. I woke up today at 11am and now it`s 1am and i`ve really only stepped away for about an hour in total. And even when I returned I was frantically searching for new updates. Can you believe my kids go out for a sleepover at Grandmas and I stay home OCD-ing on MJHD. HELP!

HA HA I can't stop laughing you are so funny and I am exactly the same.
I do not have many posts but I have been on this site way too much & using the laptop constantly, kids and I are on holidays so I have been home alot but I am going to have major withdrawal as of next week. How will I cope, my husband got another laptop because all of a sudden I wont let him use it, I never used the internet much unless I had to look up something now I AM DEFINATELY OBSESSED, but you know what that is o.k. I feel better (usually) after I visit this site. When I am not on this site I am constantly thinking about comments I have read on this site AHHHHHH!

Yep, same here. I don't even have that much posts but I admit that I am totally obsessed: spending too much time reading here and thinking about it and making by brain hurt with this.

Ok guys, not only is it turning me into an obsessive it's also making me sooooo confused
Has anyone else noticed people joining recently claiming to be close friends to Michael or The Jackson's and claiming that is a hoax and then it isn't. I'm not saying that I don't believe some people do know Michael but all the conflicting messages are messing with my head! There was someone who claimed that Michael was still alive and that they knew where he was and then in a PM message to another user said that they lied and they didn't know Michael and that they were sorry for posting.
There are lots of users on here who are still very sensitive about all of this and I fear that it will mess them up.
