Okay this is strange but Michael i need to tell you this … My Uncle Mike was missing for almost 3 months come August and i thought for sure he was dead because he's in his 50's and he has a mental disability and when my grandmom died(his mom) back in may he didn't take it very well and since we didn't live together anymore i tried to keep in touch with him through the phone but i didn't get an answer and when the funeral came and went and he didn't come i knew something was wrong but i thought maybe he needed time to take it all in she was like my mother to me and when she died i didn't know what to do i was a mess but i pulled it together because i didn't have no family to help me grieve or plan the aftermath (my mom sold her life insurance policy years ago) so it was all up to me once again to be the grown up but ANYWAY about a week after the funeral his land lord called me and told me he was didn't come home for 4 days which is unlike him so i freaked out because of his state of mind god knows what could of happened! so i called the police and what not and took care of the missing persons report they had put him on special victims unit because after 30 days its a long term missing persons case … i haven't heard from the dective since early June no word from no1 nothing i actually lost hope and was preparing to bury another family member by myself again … but about 20 minutes ago there was a voicemail on my cell phone and guess who it was??? Uncle Mike! omfg it was him i couldn't believe it i feel a little relief finally, i didn't get to talk to him yet and see where he is or anything my phone was on silent because i was doing some class work but just knowing he is alive is okay for me right now … I know it has nothing to do with you or anything about you but it a way for me it does because if it wasn't for YOU teaching me to be strong i don't know how i would of gotten through that big mess i might have given up who knows but i don't want to think of what would of happened .. Thank you Michael for helping me be strong i don't think i could go on without your “spirt”. I'm in tears right now. Again i hope no1 thinks i'm nutty .. Michael really has helped me along the way in life i guess everyone needs someone to look up to in my case it's him.

Your words are very touching and inspiring. I am so happy that your uncle is okay and that you have the peace and outcome that you were hoping for. No, you are not nutty. I believe we all look up to people for strength, whether it is someone we know personally or not. Big hugs to you!
