I enjoyed reading this.  How nostalgic. It made me genuinely smile.  I can envision the era.

Pure heart and spirit is right.  It is what I think of above all else, even above the music.

My husband is from Birmingham.  He's actually there right now.

Before you post, ask yourself – WWMJD? In our darkest hour, in my deepest despair – Will you still care? Will you be there? In my trials, and my tribulations? Through our doubts and frustrations?
