If I was the Jackson family I wouldn't tell where Michael is buried either. Why do that so some crazed deranged fans can go dig him up and hold his body for ransom,or sleep on top of his grave, claming they want to be close to him.

Really, they cant keep it a secret. I mean what are they gonna write on the grave “annonymous person” ? he isnt gonna have his own cemetary SOMEONE is gonna have to be burried next to him and SOMEONE is going to see a grave that says “Michael Joseph Jackson” and someone is going to see the family visit it. THEN once it is found out whare it is there will be a HUGE crowd, so why not just be honest from the begining and tell people….

He could alredy be burried for all we know…

there could be no dead body at all for all we know…

intresting stuff.

Jewell- Just who are you ? I have  seen several posts where you are downning the poeple that post on this site. The people on the site Love MJ, should I say it again WE LOVE MJ !!  No one on this site, wants to do anything at all to Mj, but  we need some

closure.  Having a place to go to say goodbye and maybe lay a few flowers down would definitely give us closure.

Sometimes you act as if you are above everyone on this site, and I don't know about everyone else, but I already have a mother !!!

The thing is, IF he really is dead, he is a son/father/brother first – and an entertainer second.   His family have every right in the world to keep his burial location a secret.   There were reports not long ago that when it was suspected he was at Forest Lawn, they were finding notes/letters tossed over the fence there — people wanting to kill themselves and lie next to MJ, one was even wanting to buy his body and I can't remember the rest.

The poor guy had no peace whatsoever in “life.”   He should, if he's dead, be able to have some peace in death.   The fans aren't 'owed' anything, quite frankly.

LOL- sleep on top of the grave.

I could see that happening though.

But they could have it closed off and have opening hours etc..

This may sound kinda stoopid, but I would think that the family, as tight as they seem/appear to be, would all want to be buried together. I wonder if the family had/has plots already..maybe with other deceased relatives..

Your are right about being entertainer second- but I think that many people loved him- yes some people are psychotic but many people would want to pay respects-

IMO (if he is in fact “dead”) they should have it closed off where people can go and pay respects and have security for a while.

But you what- it's his family and whatever they choose to do is their business.

still believe MJ is not dead- but waiting on autopsy etc now cause i am 50/50 about the whole thing.

The thing is, there would be massive, massive massive amounts of people showing up.   It would be like a circus.   What funeral home wants to deal with that?  Who would be on the hook for the cost to hire security?   And I'd think it would be disrespectful and distracting for the family members of their loved ones buried there;  to try and visit their loved one and have to deal with a total shit-show of cars and people.

well they did it for Elvis..I think MJ fans should have the same opportunity.

But you're right it would be a circus!!!!!!

Everyone you are all correct. The Jackson Family knows the truth for certain. There is no need in getting upset about where the body is to be buried. None of us knows what is going on behind the scene. I saw last week on one of the news shows that several folk at the cornoners office had gotten copies of MJ DC. Well! apparently in tracing on the DC a fake DC was discovered. The coroners office couldn't confirm who created it and why but everyone that was selling the original DC was reprimanded. Could it be possible the fake DC caused the coroners office to look a little closer at the body? Who knows?  Perhaps, they discovered that it isn't really MJ but a double? Also, Jermaine and Joe wanted MJ buried at Neverland. The rest of the Family wanted someplace else. There is a rift in deciding the final resting place. I don't believe they are trying to keep that information hidden. In the end the world will know where the body is laid to rest. By the way! the lot of them do need to stop talking so much.  Keep the Faith! God Bless!

Thats right. They cant keep this a secret for long. People will start following them, and then the world will know.

That is why i dont get this.

I still dont belive that he is dead. Its to fishy for me.

Mabye im the only one, who have that thought??

If they keep it a secret, once someone finds whare he is burried there will be more trouble then if they just come out and tell everyone. sure there will be a scene for a few days/weeks maybe months…but not forever. some people just want to pay there respects.

I can understand why they wouldn't want anyone to know, because there are crazies out there, but on the other hand, I can't imagine never being able to visit.  Someone, somehow, will find it.  There are professionals who do this for a living–just go around and look for graves.

I pay respects to Marilyn Monroe every time I'm in L.A.  If he's gone, it would break my heart to know I could never lay flowers for him.

I suppose the Jacksons took time out between shopping sprees and all of the wheeling and dealing to throw us this bone of (yawn) news? Whatever.

It makes no sense to say, “We're not gonna tell you.”

If you're not going to share where Michael is buried, then keep quiet.

Wasn't there a rumor that when Michael's family wanted to bury him, they wanted to bury him in cement or concrete? I was thinking, maybe they're not saying where he's buried right now because, if my memory serves me right, doesn't cement or concrete take 29 days to completely dry and harden? I know that's how it works with huge cement/concrete structures such as buildings and parking garages. I remember years ago when a parking garage collapsed, and the reason for it had turned out to be that the company that was constructing it didn't wait the full 29 days for the cement/concrete to completely dry and harden. I'm not sure how it works with smaller things though.

Also, remember when there was a huge amount of cement or concrete delivered to Neverland recently? Is it possible that Michael's family may have secretely buried Michael there, and isn't telling the fans or anyone about when or where he was/is buried because they buried him illegally? I remember that the authorities weren't going to permit them to bury Michael in Neverland, but members of the family insisted on it. I may be completely wrong though…it's just something I was thinking about.

Hmmm, interesting. That would be a good way to bury an empty casket…. Nobody would be able to open it….

I dont believe it.

Michael really LOVED Neverland, But he said so himsefl that he would NEVER go back there. After the lats trial

He no longer considerd Neverland a “home” It was just a “house” to him.

I dont think that he could ever bring himself to sell it, becasue it was still a huge part of him

But why burry him there, when they know how he felt about it??

That dosent make any sence to me

This was the King Of Pop. He had a title just as well as Elvis and James Brown (who were Michael’s idol), I mean he wanted (and got) a coffin that looked like James Browns for god sake. So that should have further let his family know he may have wanted an open burial just as the others who were giving such titles.

When asked why to his family…there excuse was “They didn’t want to have an open casket due to what he looked like from the CPR” What in the hell does CPR got to do with his face?……With all due respect we had to deal with his forever changing features for years now.. I imagine Michael’s fans would have not cared and can deal with what he looked liked in death.

Hell when Elvis died he was what?…50 pounds overweight…plus James Brown had a bad drug addiction and looked what they looked like…There fans didn’t care…There fans knew how they originally looked when they were at there best.

All they wanted was to see and pay there respects to there King and Godfather for one last time, and there families understood and made it happen.

As for them not telling where he’s buried….That’s a bunch of BS, He requested in his Will that he clearly wanted to be buried at Forrest Lawn Cemetery. How many famous people are at Forrest Lawn that has known to be vandalized or bothered with by some crazed fan? That place is so guarded and its very hard to even locate some celebrities who are buried there. So his family can save that excuse for someone else.

*To a poster who said that his family confirmed that he is buried at Forrest Lawn…his family actually said his body was there in the basement at Forrest Lawn cause there waiting on half of his brain.  If thats the case… that’s a Damn Shame!!!
