Ok, tell me what you guys think of this, or is it just my imagination. When the person calling 911 to get help to Michael, didn't the caller for the address just say, “Los Angeles, California…90077 and right off the 911 operator said..”Caroll Wood”. I was under the impression that the caller for help was using a cell phone. How would the 911 operator know the street name. I don't know….I guest they could say the cell phone has GPS tracking. Does anyone know how that works, if that was the case?

From what I believe there are 2 versions of this 911 call circulating, both of them are the same but one of them has been edited so that the full address is cut out. Can anyone correct me if I am wrong?

Why though?  It's no secret where he lives.  The paparazzi are all over it and know it already…

I don't know why there are two calls but it is strange. I mean the second call that was released says the address on it anyway so what was the point of editing the first one? There is definitely more to the 911 call then meets the eye

I am not sure.. but frome experience, I called 911 from a cell phone when my mother passed away… after I made the call, my cell was locked.  The cop had to do something to it (cuz I didn't know how) so I could make another call after.  Maybe it can trace a close vacinity where the call is coming from.. I dunno.

something else i noticed, and I dont know if things vary from state to state but….

…am I the only one who noticed that the operator NEVER said “911″? she answered simply by saying paramedic 33 or something like that..idk. I know here in GA, if you call 911, they answer the phone “Hello 911, whats your emergency?” or they may sometimes say “hello 911, IS this an emergency?” i've heard both ways, but never the way the operator answered the call for michael… again this may just be the difference between Ga and Cali or it could be another way to avoid a lawsuit if he does comeback. Because you know it's illegal to stage a real 911 call with a REAL 911 operator, and you know critics will surely BLAST him for this!!. This may be a subtle case of C-Y-A.

..just my two cents.

Not sure jaded. In uk you go through to the 999 call centre they ask you what is your emergancy, ie fire, police, ambulance and coastguard and then you get through to that department. It could be that the chap you hear on the phone call in working as an operator for the LAFD and not actually 911. I am not sure how it is in LA

It's the same version, but in the second they just cut the adress…I don't know why.

the 1st call they released is this one :
