Here is footage from the HIStory tour, it is clear to see that it is exactly the same.


Michael also mentions 'history' during the 'rehearsal footage' and for the HIStory tour and not in the original song. Why would he still be mentioning history now?

Also the rehearsal footage was said to be a full dress rehearsal when they are cleary wearing hoodies and trackies and in the History tour they wore metallic suits.

Maybe he couldn't be bothered to do a whole new dance set for They Don't Really Care About Us.


Just like he rarely changed Smooth Criminal, Thriller etc.

That's def. new footage. If it is indeed MJ himself and not a double, he is way thinner and older then the Michael I saw at the History tour.

He looked me deep in the eyes He’s touchin’ me so to start He says there’s no turnin’ back He trapped me into his heart!

yes i have to agree with souza81.

I compared a few videos from the HIStory Tour with the new one at Staples Center and the dancers are definitely the one´s from here :   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..s9RanGnSvA

Yeah it´s def. new footage. I have the history tour here on an old tape and he looks much younger and healthy.

It's new footage.. he is older, doesn't dance as energetically anymore (although I can understand… I mean.. he was 50 there after all), but it really does look like it's him.

I think the reason MJ doesn't look as energetic is because it is rehearsal. I'm sure he was just putting the moves into place and at the concert he would have ROCKED THEM OUT!!

Definitely agree that the last link is new footage. The guitarist is different (as I pointed out in a recent comment regarding the possible photoshopped photo) – Jennifer Batten was replaced by Orianthi Panagaris for these new shows.
