 This site has sparked my curiousity.
If you compare Michael Jackson's hair in the video footage from his London press conference on March 5 2009 to the video footage of his 'last rehearsal' at the Staple Center they are quite different. Examine image below.

Some say MJ had various wigs. That's probably true indeed. No harm in that. 
Look at those 3 photos…the first 2 (when MJ is back stage and then the pic of the O2 press release) are most certainly NOT the same MJ as the last photo. That last photo is the MJ we all know. The other 2 photos is the same guy…although not MJ.
I really wish that look alike MJ would have had his shades off so we can see his eyes. The eyes say it all. 
Sigh…I think it's due time to check myself into the Michael Jackson Sanitarium because I think I am going crazy.  Anyone care to join me?

I think you're right, but there's no reason for “using” a double backstage. What do you think? I mean, if he was on stage on June 23, why sending a double to talk with the dancers backstage??
But I agree, the face looks kinda different in these pictures…mhm.
Well, we both should check into the MJ Sanitarium, I'm going crazy too!  I'm glad that I found this site

I think it's hard to distinguish the real michael jackson from the doubles. very confusing.

He looks old? He was (is?) 50…. i think theres no mask.
And his wigs? Why should he wear wigs for the rehearsal? The pic with the curly hairs – or wig – seams to be an older pic – or a double.
Its crazy!

1st, 50 isn't old! but in this picture he looks like…don't know, maybe 70! perhaps just a “bad moment” but he doesn't look very healthy.
I think it's him in the picture with the curly hair. He looked great with it btw.

I think it's hard to distinguish the real michael jackson from the doubles. very confusing.
that second picture, jeeze. he looks much older than 50. I'd say around mid 60's to be honest! creepy..

That picture with him in the dance studio is not from June 23rd. It's from the audition video from a couple months back

The question that many are asking is ‘Did Michael Jackson have doubles?’
Take a good look at this picture:
First look at the texture of the skin – it appears extremely smooth. You can’t see any blemishes or even facial hair. Now look at the neck…do you see the sharp distinction between the actual neck and the plastic mask?

yes maybe we can c hair but this does not mean this is not a mask when you make a mask from prosthetic/silicone you would also use facial hair (if needed) im sure on this as im a theatrical+media makeup artist i dont see what your saying about the hair of course the mask would b made with hair over the lip beard etc

My “I can see facial hair right over his upper lip” was a response to that sentence. ^^
Do you think it's a mask? Looks too real for me. The distinction between the face and the neck…the different shade or what? Well, I would say: wrong make-up shade?!

His hair in natural form was his curly hair. I used to think he straightened it with an iron, hair cream, whatever. Which might be true. If you have seen the Oprah interview in 1993, That does not look like a wig. His hair looks very much attached to his head.

sometimes michael would wears wigs sometime he had haie extentions put in but mostly recently it was real human hair wigs because his hair he hated to deal with the corse texture all the time and it started to gray

Looking the left side of under lip …it looks from the real Michael, but in this photo his face looks tense. I really like him more with curly hair, or less limp. By the way, the wig of the double at London looks like a Halloween disguise one.

looks like the mask out of halloween that michael myers wears its quite freaky
