http://uk.news.yahoo.com/35/20…..6af92.html a conference was held by Clonaid, the scientific arm of the Raelian movement, a bizarre sect that believes cloning is the key to eternal life.
On its website, the group advertises human cloning services for $200,000 and claims to have already replicated several people.
LAS VEGAS, July 8 – After fielding numerous inquiries about the possible cloning of Michael Jackson, Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, head of Clonaid, today reaffirmed the company’s policy of strictly respecting the privacy of each of its patients. http://www.clonaid.com/page.php?18 Clonaid reaffirms its privacy policy !!
folks, wait some years, and we will see MJ coming back to US ALL, while we are aged and greyed. -> It was Michaels OBSESSION to do this and it was his hope with this technique to live for ever!!!!
maybe michael jackson kids already care for the new born baby michael

okay I sort of agreed with you on the whole leaving hints behind thing and not wanting to blow up the whole hoax, but I can't entirely agree on this. I don't think even Michael would want to clone just to preserve his legacy, even when he said he would like immortality. I think what he meant was the wish to feel the adoration from his fans and the proud achievement from his hard work; that's what he lived for, and not just to continue having a household name for many years to come.

I think he went through with it… Michael was like a boy in a candy shop over it and what he wanted he got.
Question is, did it work??

However it may be possible to clone a human body, the character is a totally different thing. It's even quite likely that the clone wouldn't be able to dance/sing/behave like MJ. A character is build over time through experiences and those experiences are time specific. One can not compare the 60's, 70's & 80's to the first two decades of this century.
Besides, a clone would never look like we know MJ, as it would look more like MJ prior to 1984 (unless plastic surgery would be applied as well).

yesterday i discovered an interview with mj, somehow done in a museum with egyptian things. the reporter asked
him: would you also like to be buried in such a golden casket like in former times? michaels answer was very very clear: he answered: i dont want to be buried ever! i want to live for ever !!!
this video can be found on youtube. i must search for it.
the cloning of michael was for sure is “second plan” in case he gets ill or old and so on. But I have no doubt, that he as already done this.
Sheep Dolly was a living result of genetic and science. And this institute does marketing with saying: we have already cloned several people.
MICHAEL WILL HAVE BOUGHT THIS SECOND PLAN, like we do shop in amazon!!

yep, it's from the Martin Bashir documentary. they were standing in front of a replica of Tutankhamuns tomb. I thought about this when I heard that MJ will be buried in a golden coffin.

IMHO, since cloning isn't 100%, if I were MJ, I'd clone Bubbles first just to see if it really works.

Even if this company could clone a human beeing, the clone would only look like the early MJ. You can only clone the hardware (=the body), not the software(=characteristics, soul, etc…) and especially the second feature is the most important. So, what you will get is the best MJ look alike, but certainly no real MJ at all. Every one of us is one of a kind. It doesn't work like in this “The 6th day” movie

sorry @folks, i also wished the truth is the hoax, but http://www.newsoftheworld.co.u…..rview.html
pls LOOK WITH YOUR HEART
if michael is alive would he ever hurt his children with watching him, beeing DEAD!?!??!?!
NO, no, no. look with your heart. Michaels childhood was terrible for him. and he would never hurt his children!!!!
so all cool down. michael passed away from us! Before you judge me, try hard to love me, Look within your heart then ask, Have you seen my Childhood?
People say I'm strange that way 'Cause I love such elementary things, It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known…
Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like fantastical stories to share The dreams I would dare, watch me fly…

Cloning is pretty awesome, but it wouldn’t preserve his legacy. The clone would be another individual person with their own mind. Nature vs nurture. Many of Michael’s traits may be due to the environment that he grew up in and not his genetics. Some of his physical features may be preserved, but not everything! This is a completely different time from which he group up in.
It would be interesting to raise your own clone, but the cloner would still have to realize that the clone is another individual with their own personal thoughts shaped by the world around them. For example, if I was a clone of say.. my mother, I may make every effort to either be like them or be more individual learning to do things differently.
