Marlon's tribute at the Memorial.  Why, out of all the things you can say at such a crucial “never-get-the-chance-to-speak-at-my-loving-brother's-memorial-again” moment, would he go into such great detail about disguises, especially the shoes.

If this was my brother and I was devastated, I doubt I would be referring to my brother's costumes, instead concentrating on all the good my brother did, it's human nature. Marlon did a bit of that, but the biggest part of his speech was about Michael's disguises – with a special note about Michael's shoes – “I would know my brother anywhere, he always wore the same shoes”.

Why?

I think, he was reminding Michael – the master of make-up and disguise that, if ever, he is within vicinity of him, or his family without them knowing, to wear particular shoes so they also will know it's him. It would be quite feasible to think that Michael will want to be close to his family and children if he indeed faked his own death. I think that even though the family are “in” on this elaborate plan (or the idea of it) perhaps not all are up to speed on plans, etc., perhaps because it's massive to pull off and also that only some (in my opinion – definately La Toya – to make up for her past with him, also Janet) would be capable of keeping up with the initial plan.  It could be a case of “the less some members of the family know, the better – at this stage).

Michael could quite easily pull that off because of who he was, changing his appearance constantly to keep one “step” ahead, so to speak.

I think, this message by Marlon was the strongest and clearest one to date. I also agree, and felt at the moment I watched the memorial, EVERYTHING that has been discussed at this forum.

Thanks for putting this place up – if nothing else, it will be fascinating to hear the theories.

Too many oddites and I think, we as human beings are tuned into our own discernment, picking up on things that don't seem to be quite right or out of place and Michael's “death” and everything around it, is one of those times for me.  The moment I saw Michael's O2 speech, I commented about this hand – I just felt immediately that it was wrong, but I couldn't explain exactly what it was. when I commented about it to friends. Later, I was almost relieved to read that I certainly wasn't the only one who felt or noticed this.

Thanks to whoever posted the links over at TMZ to this place.  TMZ will no doubt be milking their “cash-cow” for everything and let's face it – as much as we may not want to read what they dig up – the flipside to that is “knowledge is power”.  The more put out there, like so many have said, the more chance for something to come out, or slip, or both.

There's nothing like telling 31 million people how your brother had to wear disguises to go out in public, and then say “maybe now Michael..they will leave you alone”

Can you feel it.. Can you feel it… CAN YOU FEEL IT

Yep. (love the name and ava by the way).

There it is. Why? In my humble opinion, he was telling the public about the disguises and wrapping it up into his tribute/goodbye speech. He had to make it look at least valid, hence the mention of the twin, as sad as that part was, he had to make it look genuine because he loved his brother so. Let's not forget, the Jacksons have entire lives built around performance.

Do I feel “outraged” if the hoax is for real and the world got punked?

No, I totally understand his need to do it if he did, sad as it is.

I'm with you, for years I thought if he could just get away, away from all the haters who were causing him to self-destruct in an emotional way. MJ knows true fans will wish him well on this journey to heal  his shattered soul. <3

It's a catch 22 situ.

How nice it would be to have this place acknowledged by a family member, or better still – a real source.

But we are a self-fulfilling prophecy here, are we not?

If his family were to acknowledge us here, there are those who would say they're part of the elaborate scheme to keep the death story going – keep the $$$ rolling in as he/they need it.

If he were to secretly acknowdge us here (we are not worthy, LOL) no one would believe it was him.

Argh…..taking a Bex and having a lay down me thinks, LOL.

Fun exploring tho (with hope).

so if mj wore the same shoes all the time,

were they the black loafers that we see in most photos?

Then it is interesting that at the 02 press conference,

he was wearing some sort of boots with a small heel….

hummmm

To find the truth… I like to play Devil’s Advocate… Please don’t let that upset you!

According to Marlon's speech, he did and it seems he wore the black loafers a lot didn't he? Even when on stage, it was often a ramped-up or pimped version of the good old comfy – loafer no less!

I know, I know …

It's the tiniest of details, the tiniest of slip-ups which can sometimes lead to the greatest contradictions of all.

Please this is old news anybody who has follwed Michael's career knows about his disguises.Marlon was just trying to lighten the moment.Maybe everytime Marlon saw him he wore the same shoes. We all know  Michael loved to wear boots too,and it didn't start with Dirty Diana or the Bad videos. He was wearing boots in the early 80's around the Triumph Tour.Michael's real fans know about these disguises because Michael would tell us about it himself, how else was he going to function in the real  world.Marlon did tell the pubic the need for these diguises as did Michael.
