Sorry i was going to post this reply to a topic about Jermaine but i now cannot find the discussion thread.

there was a topic yesterday showing a piccie of Jermaine after he read out his original press conference statement announcing Michaels death. the topic of discussion was whether his tears are genuine.

My thoughts are this. Firstly i don't know Jermaine but his tears were genuine. That doesn't mean to say i think Michael did pass on.

A few years ago i watched a programme called Celebrity Big Brother where Jermaine was participating. If you are aware of this programme you will know it is very difficult to hide your true personality for a long period of time.

I see the same beautiful qualities in Jermaine that i see in Michael. I believe that Jermaine is a very peacful and caring guy. Not only is he a peace with himself but he is also at peace with life. He came across as a very genuine chap who wears his heart on his sleeve. In alot of ways he has the same aura as Michael.

As in all of the interviews i have watched i believe his tears are 100% genuine and you can see the love he has for Michael.

I am still not convinced yet if Michael passed away, well i wouldn't be on this site would i. But his tears could be that he is worried about MIchael. I am still going with the theory that Michael was in trouble.

Sorry but i just wanted to stick up for him. He is a lovely man.

Awww your post is so sweet! I agree with you that he is a lovely man. I watched Big Brother when Jermaine was in and I remember him sticking up and for and comforting Shilpa Shetty when the whole race row with Jade Goody happened. He even quoted a line from “Man In The Mirror” to make her feel better. He clearly adores Michael and I think this goes back to The Jackson 5 days. From interviews I have seen they used to share rooms together.

I also believe that Jermaine's tears were genuine. You can see when he first starts to talk at the press conference that he looks like he has the weight of the world on him. I also believe Michael is alive but I think he was in trouble and confided in Jermaine and as you said he was worried about him. I don't believe that Jermaine would intentionally hurt anyone but he loves Michael very much and would do anything to protect him.

Ok so he was the closest of all Michael's brothers to him maybe, but you know I think I have shed more tears over Michael than him or any of his family which has been noted by the press. Jermaine is travelling the world for heaven's sake talking about Michael – I just know if it were my brother, sister or close member of family I wouldn't be able to stay sane never mind travel and give speeches about the situation. I thought that the whole family was not able to reach Michael during the last year of his life…YET, I heard Dionne Warwicks son on the Larry King Live interview after his death and he states that he and MJ were working on a song (or project together) and that JERMAINE was the middle man. So apparently that alleged family did not have contact with MJ spin is not true…

Or…was Jermaine the exception to the rule since, as he said (Jermaine)—–he always had “Michael's back” throughout his life.
