That's true…you don't automatically become a certain religion without all the requirements and prerequisites… they are just going to church with Grandma.

Why? There's nothing wrong with being a Jehovah's Witness. Dont assume because someone is a witness that they practice strict religion. Some still celebrate birthdays and holidays. Just like all Christians dont live directly from the bible. Let's not be religious intolerant now

What's wrong with them going to a Jehovah's Witness church, and what's wrong if Michael's kids did/do become a JW? Like someone else said in an earlier message, just because Katherine is a JW doesn't mean she follows the religion 100%. I'm sure Katherine knows how Michael was raising his children, and was proud of how well he was doing it…I seriously doubt that she would change their lives so drastically so quickly, or force things on them. How do we know that Michael's children weren't JW's already? We don't even know what religion Michael belonged to, but he still had some JW beliefs…he may have passed those beliefs to his children already. I don't see what would be wrong with the children becoming Jehovah's Witnesses if that's what they believe in, and I don't see what's wrong with the religion. The same goes for Michael…the rumors about him converting to Islam (I heard they were untrue a while ago)…if that's what he believes, then so be it. It's not like Michael would become an extremist and become a terrorist and abuse women, etc. It's not a violent or horrible religion…what makes it good or bad is how the believer interprets it, and how they treat others. I'm just happy that they had/have some form God in their lives. Also, religion is a very personal issue, which I feel we should respect their privacy…freedom of religion. I honestly don't feel that there's any one “true” religion, and that all others are wrong, and that whoever doesn't believe in the one “true” religion will go to hell. Michael REALLY loved his mother very much, and I doubt, no, I know that he wouldn't leave his children to ANYONE who would hurt them in any shape or form. We have to show some trust in Michael and his decision. If Michael was smart enough to plan everything out in his will and speak to family and friends regarding death, etc., then I'm sure that all of these issues had already been discussed in the past.

Sorry but for me JW is not a religion…

Anyway, Michael leaved it and it was not for NO reason imo

and sorry but I really hate when they knock to my door to tell me “WAKE UP” , like if didn't believe what THEY believe I'm not ok..no.. sorry ….

I don't want judge religions, but when a religion judge me..I don't like it

He left the religion because he was free to and he is a grown man. That doesnt mean he hated the Jehovah's Witnesses and the practices, it just mean he found something better for him. And it's really not for you to say what is a religion and what is not. Who are you to judge a whole group of people based on someone that knocked on your door? thats right up there with racism imo
