 is this for real?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/new…..ianas.html

However, it emerged last night that his body may not be buried at all, but could be preserved forever in his famous moonwalk stance.

The claim was made by German doctor Gunther von Hagens, who has gained notoriety for embalming corpses in polyurethane.

His 'plastination' process enabled him to create a London show featuring preserved human bodies, many displaying internal organs.

Last night, Dr von Hagens said: 'An agreement is in place to plastinate the King of Pop.'

He said he had agreed with representatives of Jackson's family 'months ago' that his body would be plastinated and placed next to the singer's late chimp Bubbles, who was preserved after his death and is on display in the show at the O2 arena, where the singer was due to appear next month.

A spokesman for von Hagens said it was one of Jackson's last wishes to be reunited with Bubbles, adding: 'There is no better place than to do this at the venue where Jackson was to perform his 50-date tour.

'Whilst von Hagens is keen to keep the pose of the superstar's plastinate under wraps, he hinted that the moonwalk position would naturally be favoured.

'It is hoped the exhibit will be unveiled towards the end of July for fans to visit and pay respects.'

Michael Jackson Wants to Be Plastinated

According to media reports, Michael Jackson is considering having his body “plastinated” by Body Worlds founder Gunther von Hagens. The controversial doctor says he could give the wacky pop star “the gift of immortality.”

In the music video for his 1983 hit “Thriller,” Michael Jackson famously appears as a zombie. Now the eccentric music star could join the ranks of the undead for real: According to media reports, he is considering having his body posthumously preserved by plastination pioneer Gunther von Hagens

The British tabloid the Daily Star reported that Michael Jackson was planning to have his body “plastinated” by von Hagens, who has himself achieved considerable fame through his successful — and highly controversial — “Body Worlds” exhibitions. The paper quoted a source close to the pop star as saying that the singer was “definitely up for undergoing the procedure when the time comes.”

In an interview published in the Wednesday edition of the mass circulation German daily Bild, von Hagens lent weight to the report. “I am not allowed to divulge the names of the people who donate their bodies to me due to patient-doctor confidentiality,” said the doctor, who shares the pop star's fondness for black hats. “I will only say this — one of Michael's Jackson's employees has made contact with us.”

Von Hagens said that his patented plastination process could continue the process of reshaping Jackson's body that the self-styled King of Pop has pursued through multiple plastic surgery operations. “I could give Michael the gift of physical immortality — he has already achieved this with his music.” Bild speculated that Jackson's nose, which has famously received a series of surgical interventions, was already plastinated enough to not require any further work.

The Plastination inventor offered to show Jackson around his Body Worlds show which will be on at London's O2 arena at the same time as Jackson's recently announced comeback concert series, which begins in July. “I would happily walk Mr. Jackson through my exhibition,” von Hagens told the newspaper. “We could talk about a possible pose for him as a plastinate.”

Von Hagens' Body Worlds exhibitions show bodies which have been given to his Institute for Plastination by donors who signed up for the process while they were alive and have been visited by more than 26 million people to date, according to the Body Worlds Web site.

The beauty of conspiracy theories is that the more they try to talk you out of it, the more they reinforce the idea of conspiracy.

I did wonder what was going to happen to his body (if they have one). In the Bashir interview they are in an antiques shop and they look at an Egyptian tomb and Bashir asks MJ if he'd like to be buried in something like that (kinda ironic when you see the casket at the memorial) and MJ said 'No I dont want to be buried' so what has happened to him? It's been an awfully long time for the body to be in storage. But does anyone really believe that he would leave his plastinated body as a reminder for his kids? I dont. It's not exactly a nice legacy is it?!

BS! We know Bubbles is alive! They showed him at some reserve somewhere a few weeks ago. Who knows? Perhaps! they are going to preserve the fake MJ that died in the MJ's place in the MOONWALK position. Whoever is preserved won't be Michael Jackson. Keep the Faith!

that janet had called the stuff for making Michael body being plastinated. And she had no more hope he is still alive….

mmmhhh I hope is not true.Even if he died,I would prefer non to see “the skeleton” in a fake moonwalk position just for making it eternal. It is already eternal,c'mon.

let's hope it is not true

this artilcle said MJ had been preserved by the cryogenics firm Alcor.

Insiders have said that Michael Jackson was too terrified and ill, to perform the 50 shows that were booked. he did not die, but rather has been preserved by the cryogenics firm Alcor. The plan also calls for a viewiing chamber “temple” at Neverland, co owned by his joint business partner. This is why all the heavy construction equipment has been seen going in and out of Neverland Ranch, as the public has been informed that no memorial will be held there.

Alcor procedures ideally begin within moments of cardiac arrest.

Michael Jackson was occompanied 24/7 by the team at Alcor for the last year. Blood circulation and breathing were artificially restored, and a series of medications were administered to protect the brain from lack of oxygen. Rapid cooling also began, which further protected the brain. The goal is to keep the brain alive by present-day criteria for as long as possible into the procedure. It is not always possible to respond so rapidly and aggressively, but Alcor's situation regarding michael Jackson was ideal.

Who would know, whether it's a plastnated body or just a 'sculpture'?

Michael could have met up with Gunther to do 3D-scans to make him able to get the complete structure of his skeleton, muscles, anything else needed to make a sculpture of it.
