Oh yeah. And I get tired of all theposts that start out with titles like: OMG we're right!
OMG OMG OMG about to faint.
HOLY CRAP OMG
WHAT THE HELL this is freaky!
etc.
Why can't people make their titles a little more informative instead of so hysterical? I want to know before I click if I'm about to read something sane or not.

Not a problem PW. And I don't know how old you are. And I don't want to be offensive, but we have to remember we do have younger posters here. And I'm concerned about that too.

Sorry, but i don`t get it.
This movie should be a documentation of MJ`s life?
It will be interresting but why the emontional “OMG!!!”?
Do you think that the end of the movie would be like … his death was a hoax?

All the OMG's and I can't breathe's make it hard for me to take a conversation seriously….
and i don't mean that to offend anyone….
Same here. I think we all realize weird shit is surrounding MJ's death. Now whether this means it's a hoax/movie/comback/PT Barnum, a coma, protective custody, a DEA sting, accidental death with a REALLY freaking out Dr. Murray, Murder, or something entirely different… We need to all keep our heads and try to be sane here.
I feel like there are people on this site who love MJ and want to know what happened and want to be a part of figuring out the mystery. Like Scooby Doo. Conspiracy theories can be fun, and it can be an imaginative way to cope with an otherwise stressful situation. But for some people this is not fun. This is not uplifting for them and it is not therapeutic for them. For some people this is clearly emotionally unhealthy and I worry someone is going to snap. I had someone a few weeks ago jump on me and say I had mental problems if i thought this was “fun.” Um, okay, she missed my point, but whatever.
But then there is another group of people for whom this is like a religion. Everybody has to “keep hope alive” and “keep the faith” and “never give up” and “MJ always said this” and “MJ always said that.” Seriously, it's kind of like a cult. This is very very disturbing to me. I worry that my participation in this site and sharing theories and debating concepts is encouraging some of the cult-like mentality that I've seen in some other posters. i.e. I am “keeping their hope alive” by some of the things I post sometimes. And that disturbs me. I wonder if I shouldn't just hang back and stop posting as much. Because I don't want to contribute to someone's later meltdown if/when it becomes absolutely clear MJ is dead.
I LOVE interacting with the more logical posters who can really pick an idea apart but who aren't too emotionally invested in it. But those so emotionally invested they will take anything as proof that MJ is alive and planning a comeback are just hard to deal with.
I agree with all of this. Now I did and still do truly love Michael for everything he was and is. Michael was one of those special people, they dont come around too often, so I did care enough to be suspicious and look to find others that were too.
I love conspiracy theories too, and to some extent it is fun to try to figure out what Michael may have had in mind, IF you look at this from that perspective, that he planned this some how. Of course if he were murdered, or if he is really gone, no one would say that it's fun, some people just take things OUT OF CONTEXT something Michael couldn't stand either.
I posted the other day that I believe 1 of 3 possible theories to be what happened, and I still do. (a) The whole thing is a hoax and at the end of this movie that will be released in October we see Michael say “Thats a wrap” and we find out he is still with us, (b) Dr. Murray was paid to murder him by some powerful forces (whether thats Sony, a host of poeple, the Elite, or whatever) or (c) Michael knew his life was in danger so he faked his death to save his life.
I hope we get to the bottom of this, and although I am on here every day checking up on whats happening, I also dont like the FORUM TITLES that are created just to look like someone found out something to solve this whole mystery with the OMG!!!!!! stuff – then I open it and it's nothing.
Maybe the Admin should clean out some of these threads to get some semblance of order back – The top theories, or the most replied to threads – or something like that.

Yes, agreed about people taking things out of context. They always do it.
I'm with you on those three theories… that's close to where I'm at. I think a hoax/movie is “possible” but I lean more toward the coma theory, protective custody/DEA sting, or murder.

The smorgasboard of death hoax theories made me laugh. We have quite a lot of scenarios to play with now. Exnay on the dramay. Calm, cool heads always prevail.

Before you post, ask yourself – WWMJD?
In our darkest hour,
in my deepest despair –
Will you still care?
Will you be there?
In my trials,
and my tribulations?
Through our doubts
and frustrations? |

I´m gonna control myself from now on, also because of the younger members on this board.
What i dont like is that i m the one now who gets all these nasty comments because of the OMG headline.
No need to say that there are topics which are more needless/superfluous…..my opinion….
and when you say u love to interact with the more logical posters….not the ones who are too emotionally invested …..mmmh well…dont get me wrong but i somehow feel offended by that.
Id like to post much more on this forum, share my logical thoughts with all of you but unfortunatly i have trouble translating my german thoughts and theories into english….

Hehe, I LOVE the P.T. Barnum and movie theories. Even if I don't necessarily “believe” in them, I love them. They're a lot of fun. And it would be really cool if it turned out to be true.

Ha! You're older than me! I'm 30. I'm sorry if you feel like I'm singling you out. I didn't mean to single you out. I've just seen a LOT of hysteria on this board lately. It's getting overwhelming. I also didn't mean to imply (since you bolded part of my post) that you were an illogical person. I just wish we could stick more to logic and taking things apart more methodically.
I do think what you have to say about that photographer is interesting though. I don't know if it means anything or not, but I think it's interesting nevertheless.
It's not so much that I think the topic is needless/superfluous. It's more that the title doesn't really let us know what we're in for. And if I hear someone is about to faint or is shaking from excitement, I am genuinely a little worried about that kind of reaction. And I don't mean that in a mean and patronizing way. I mean I'm sitting here thinking: “Oh god… how is this person going to take it if MJ turns out to be dead?” I just wish people would TRY to remain open minded to all sides of things and not get too excited, because it will be a really big crushing fall if it turns out you're wrong and MJ is dead.
And no, it's right for you to be offended by my statement on logical posters. It was insulting to you and I apologize. We ALL make posts sometimes in various forums that may be a little excited or a little emotional. It doesn't make us all illogical and it doesn't mean we don't have anything to contribute. You're right and I'm sorry I said it. I could have made my point without being insulting.
And I'm also sorry I didn't take into consideration a language barrier. I only speak one language. You're doing a lot better than me! LOL. But I forget there are so many people from different countries on this board and English isn't the first language of everyone. It doesn't make anyone less intelligent. I couldn't say two words in German. It doesn't make me stupid. So I apologize if I implied anything like that about you or your post as well.
Also thank you for being kind and level-headed in your response. I really appreciate it.

I wouldn't worry about anyone in all seriousness. There's no way to 100% prove that he's dead. No matter the evidence presented there is a theory to debunk it. If someone really wants to keep believeing Michael Jackson isn't dead they will find a reason to cling to, and really there's no harm in it. After hearing in the news “Michael Jackson Is Dead”, there are no further bad news bombshells they can drop on us. The truth is a matter of interpretation, always.
In other words, believeing the hoax theory is all good clean fun. Just like any other Michael Jackson performance.
Just make sure if he does come back, no one dies of heart failure, ok?

That's a good point. I tend to mother hen. And you're probably right, MJ coming back and causing people heart failure is probably a bigger thing to worry about. lol
Though people do seem to be getting very very stressed and right or wrong, I do get the sense that if they don't get PROOF MJ is absolutely alive or he doesn't come back by a certain date, they're just going to lose it. And I'm not saying the OP is like this. (I already stuck my foot in my mouth once today with the OP, not planning to be a jerk again in the same thread lol) I'm just saying in general there is a lot of really extreme emotional responses on this board.

Like i wrote b4, i just wanted to do my own research about the photographer and landed on the other site by chance
I also dont know if that means anything but i find odd that he didnt mention Michael – THE KING OF POP on his professional page! And he also uploaded the “last pix” of his rehearsal which someone found out were from 2006.…

True! ok let me say this…. im not a hysterical MJ Fan (i dont like the word fan)
I fell in love with his music when i was 11 years old. The first music i was interested in.
I always followed his career… sometimes more sometimes less…..
I tend to emote in terms like that….but i can calm u down. I wouldnt faint or sth like that
