I was reading an article in Rolling Stone Magazine this morning:
“On the last night of his life, Jackson arrived at the Staples Centerfor six hours of a full run through. First, he had a meeting with Phillips, AEG President Tim Leiweke, his manager Frank Dileo, and Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich. They were going over ideas for a Halloween Special they were putting together; the network debut of “Ghosts”, Jackson's short film, which would incorporate clips of a live-performance of “Thriller” from London.
Does it seem odd that there were plans to re-release “Ghosts”?? How old is that??
Thoughts?

Hmmmm very strange indeed! “Ghosts” is an oldish mini movie so why would they want to re-release it?
Maybe it was another way for AEG to make money out of Michael - I'm sure they will stop at nothing!

Interesting. Ghost, Thriller, This Is It all set for the same release. All with a similar theme

The article in Rolling Stone didn't specify which network, just that Micheal was working on a “re-release” of Ghost, it said “Network debut”, and the special was supposed to air on HALLOWEEN, that's what caught my attention….also the special was supposed to have live performance footage of “Thriller” from o2 performances….it may all be coincidence, it just seems strange to re-release now since Ghost is like 10 years old……and set for Halloween…..I don't know
