Just found this while searching for news ( heard thru other members that his life insurance has been paid out). Seems as if his aide let the insurance policy lapse. Here is a link to the article. If this has already been mentioned, I apologize.

I don't know if that is a reliable source or not…
but the insurance company would not have paid out to the estate if it had lapsed….
and he may have had more than one policy.

no, what we heard today,
about the estate collecting the proceeds …is filed in court.

You can't believe NOTHING that you read. But if any of this at all is true and Michael did fake his death, then this would be a good thing. If he did return some time in the future, He could not be imprisoned for insurance fraud. And if this is true, Why would the aide let Michael's insurance lasp in the last month of his life? So that they could get the hoax going and he could one day return?

Yeah, he probably did have more than one policy. Most people do. Well just wanted to put it out there, ya never know.
And I think the court records, for the amounts are sealed but I'm not positive.

Many insurance companies still pay out even on lapsed policies, depending on the circumstances. What they do is allow you to pay the missed premiums and then reinstate the policy. They aren't required to, but many times they do.
But I wouldn't believe a damn thing ANY UK “paper” wrote.

So if the insurance has been paid out then I guess there's nothing left to say?
