If someone already posted this I am sorry! I just came across it…
Okay! Maybe I am making too much of this movie thing! but has any one noticed that Michael Jackson's memorial is listed under Kenny Ortega's list of directed projects! Again maybe I am making too much of it and maybe is just a coincidence but if you click on the link below it takes you to the list of cast in the memorial. All the people who participated are listed as cast??? and listed as themselves. Even Michael Jackson is listed as self. Why a cast?
Maybe this is not strange and is only weird to me because I am making too much of it but why would they have the word “cast” and listed alphabetically? And if you scroll all the way down and see next to Lucious Smith next to it in Parentheses it says “as” Rev. Lucious Smith. Please someone knock some sense into me if I am making too much of this lol but I find it very strange that they would have the memorial in imdb under projects completed for t.V. It seems to me that by being listed in IMDB the memorial takes more part of a movie or a movie production than it does a memorial where people are supposed to mourn? It was supposed to be a memorial not a production! Any way here is the link and I hope you guys can share your thought on this.

That is rather odd that IMDB would label the memorial like that… I wonder if James Brown or Pope John Paul II, Farrah Fawcett's death is labeled like a movie as well….
Hmmm…will keep this tucked away for future reference.

Interesting, If you click on “more details”, it shows it listed under “Reality TV”. Does anyone have time to check if Princess Diana or any other famous person, who's memorial was broadcast on TV, is listed in Imdb??

Exactly my thoughts! Why have a memorial listed as a performance??? I thought I was just going crazy making too much of it when I saw it. lol I'm glad you guys are able to see/understand what I'm trying to say.

Hi! I've seen the 9/11 memorials as well and they only list David Stern as director but it doesn't list anyone else who participated (no cast). At least I don't see any in the links I opened.

It is a little odd, but the entertainers I know list EVERY “performance” on their resume. Since those people sang, or choreographed, or played the music, it's considered a performance. It was a “tribute” (concert?).
Kenny Ortega did the Dangerous tour as well, as far as working with Michael, but he's been around forever and is well known in the entertainment industry.

Yes! but why would the family list it as a performance if they were not there to perform? And the kids are listed as well and as far as I knew they were not performers either. I just found it to be very strange to list a memorial as a performance for the family and others who spoke candidly about Michael. Now Jennifer Hudson and John Mayer and others who sang or performed than yes I understand them listing it down as a performance but even then I find it weird! Sorry, I guess I'm just hardheaded lol

Kenny Ortega along with MJ designed the Dangerous and History tour. He worked with MJ for several years, at least thats what he said at a live hispanic program we watch here in Puerto Rico. About him classifying the memorial as a project…well i would agree with Give.In.To.Me. I want to throw up. Sorry Michael, I love you.

I also wouldn´t classify family members and a Reverend on a memorial under “cast” along with the performers.
Admittedly, I don´t know who creates these production indexes and puts them online on imdb…

I do have the Princess Diana funeral on tape where Elton John played, I'll have to check but I don't think it says cast in any way, just maybe performance by etc. I feel for sure it doesn't list everyone there as cast, maybe it is just a US thing? It is odd. I still find it odd that everyone who seemed to know him is either making money out of talking about him or seems to have frgotten about him and has gotten on with their lives, there still to me, seems to have been a lack of genuine grief from everyone around him.

i agree with u – so many spoke out about Michael and claimed themselves close friends or a part of his inner circle. I don't think I saw one of them who showed genuine sad emotions following his 'death'. Brooke Shields? well have people forgotten what her profession is? she can cop up a few tears and tremble a little anytime she wants – she's been doing that 4 several decades now!
and Randy Philips and Ortega showed no emotions at all – they spoke with words that expressed sadness at Michael's 'death' but their face looked stone-cold as hell.
to be honest, it looked and sounded like everyone has been talkingin riddles ever since June 25th – not one freind or family made any sense at all..and now this ? since when was a memorial a project? even though I cried during the memorial service, I felt like it was somewhat fabricated, everything from fake emotions that the stars showed (Usher made it so obvious with overdramatic 'performance' with taking off sunglasses and stigling 'cry' ; and what nerve did Corey Feldman have to turn to MJ's memorial service dressed like him? he should be put into a psych ward!)

I looked for Princess Diana's memorial there and nothing came up, I even tried looking up Ronald Reagan's…nothing

Very interesting! This may reveal a clue as to why there were so many celebrity no-shows. If it was part of a bigger production where they would have been expected to sign contracts to attend, this would create conflicts, etc that could prevent them from appearing. My scale keeps tipping toward “HOAX” with every weird detail.

Hi Banessa and everybody…somewhere in internet i read that this movie will be in format 3d and they want to revive Michael with help of speceffects…may be cuz of it…
Guys day by day when i knew any details of his death or reading reports over internet…i am loosing a hope and such different versions and media made me believe that he isnt alive… what can you say?
