I don't want to start an argument or anything; I'm just curious why people are so willing to believe almost anything they read without any evidence supporting it whatsoever.
When I first came on this site, before I was even registered as a member, this forum was all about evidence. Whether it be what someone said, a picture, an old news report which pointed towards a hoax, or current events which were pointing towards a hoax.
Now before I start my own personal opinion I'm asking that people keep replies polite. In no way am I asking for people to agree; just that this forum is about discussion not insults or name-calling. I only mention this so that people can reply, say why they are willing to believe certain things or not believe these things without the Moderator or Admin having to take the action of removing it.
Some people have believed various sightings of MJ. Why? In this world that we live in almost every single person has a cell phone, and almost all of the cell phones have a camera. Yet someone spots MJ in Heathrow Airport (which just happens to be England's busiest airport with an abundance of CCTV cameras) all of a sudden nobody has a camera or a cell phone. At this moment I'd maybe accept a hand-drawn sketch as long as someone else would say it was close enough in likeness.
Then there was some 'fat' guy living above someone in Germany. I don't get it. MJ hides from the world, and first he picks Germany, then he decides to be fat, and finally he is carrying out garbage. I remember a little bit of that post “I could tell it was him by the way he walked”. Take it he wasn't carrying the usual amount of garbage people put out? And once again, although the person is at home no camera or cell phone.
When MJ was not hiding, and I truly do believe that he is hiding somewhere, he couldn't step out of the front door without a few hundred cameras being shoved in his face. Now he is in hiding everyone has forgotten how to take a picture?
Then we come to all the friends of MJ that have come on to the forum to give clues. Come on, you have to be kidding me.
Joke Calms China? ClosePalToMJ? StaySilent? PeterPan?
MJ is hiding! Pure and simple. No question in that bit. He has obviously gone to a lot of time and trouble to pull off this hoax; but his close friends are going to come on and give 'clues' to his whereabouts? – I don't think so.
Just not going to happen. MJ is not sitting there going “Joker that flower clue was a little bit obvious; oh well years of planning down the toilet so you could give a clue. Let's say we do it on my 80th birthday. And dont go too far with the clues this time.
I'm not saying there is no evidence out there; many of the people on this site/forum have done a lot of work to uncover the details of the hoax. I'll be honest with you, MJHD is starting to give me a fair share of genuine laughs — Your account of the underlined part above cracked me the hell up!! Suddenly rumour has it that my account was hacked! Posters seemed to know more about my account than I do!

Next time someone claims to be a friend of Mikes i would like to see a proof thanks. Otherwise SHUT IT!! Im sorry but im serious.
NONE of Michaels friends would post something in here. They are very devoted to Michael, and they are trying to help him get better, why would they waste their time on us?

I will admit this …. I didn't believe Joke Calms China , ClosePalofMJ , Stay Silent & PeterPan …. I followed them because gave me hope and yes , you are right – we all are foolish to believe anything w/o evidence … but I think the moral idea of it really … gave people hope & the right mindset to believe Michael is alive and well … even though it was childish and getting old …. it was showing real true feelings of the fans and people who love him how we feel about him …. .. I don't think it was intentionally to annoy people and come off track of any evidence of Michael's “Death” or the Weird things surrounding His “Death”.

Great post. You even made me laugh a bit (in a good way).
What you say is true. Even if we believe MJ's alive and hiding somewhere, it's not really healthy to go crazy after certain “mystery” posts.
However, I like to keep an open mind and -although sometimes with a grain of salt- I take every post into consideration and then decide for myself if I give it any credit or not.
Personally, I tend to not believe the very good or the very bad posts, because I feel they are both destined to play with our minds but, since I don't know the truth, I cannot dictate others what to do or what to believe in.
And who knows, maybe one of those crazy posts is telling the truth.

Excellent post, i agree 100% with you. I posted a similar opinion last evening on Keisha7's missing post “good news”……hmmmm!
Either these so called friends of Mj's know he really is alive and are betraying his trust by announcing these things, or they really don't know him at all. I had mentioned that this is the internet, none of us know anything about one another really. Any one of us members could come on here and claim we know he is alive and if people believe it, they believe it. If they don't, they don't.
Unless someone is betraying his trust then I cannot see any of his friends saying anything to anyone, regardless of being anonymous or not. If they are true friends in on his hoax then they are not going to blow is cover so easily and ruin everything he has obviously worked so hard to accomplish!
Everyone however is free to express their opinions/theories etc and should not have these posts deleted. And for those that choose to believe these posts then that is fine. We are all also entitled to believe what we want, it is our choice. Nobody is forcing anyone of us to believe or not to believe. And fellow members should not be so rude to other members who do choose to believe or not!!

I gotta say, I don't get the people that come on here claiming they know MJ or they know a friend of a friend of a friend who knows MJ and then proceed to tell us he's alive. That's actually not even the worst. The worst is people like Joke Calms China and staysilent who leave puzzling messages without any introduction, any backing story, any proof or anything MORE substantial and expect us to fall to his/her feet in gratitude!
If anybody else here has ever dealt with internet chatrooms or messageboards or forums, you'll know that trolls and other pranksters are always in ample supply. You can't take anyone's straight word for truth. It's not like real life where you can use other factors to help you decide.
So I don't get why those people then come back or others get angry at the mods for deleting or stopping those posts. We've already gathered enough material in terms of “evidence” here, haven't we? So we should demand a bit more respect and direction when someone makes an outlandish statement like they know MJ is alive and for us to not worry. It throws everyone into a tizzy and it hits us where we're vulnerable because everyone wants good news.

But some of these clues/ topics/hints you have to admit is way to detail and personal. Some pictures I have seen I have to ask myself “How in the hell did they find that?” On some of the boards some posters start a topic with YOU having to find the clue to debunk. State your facts, debunk it and then we follow. Everyone else does it.
MJ may not be wacthing, but someone HAS to BE!
Ive seen the littlest thing not to sat here and just wonder “how in the hell did this come up”

I suppose you all probably won't believe me, but I'm a close friend of .. (LOL) but, seriously, SkEpTiCaL is my hubby.  He's quite the character .. you should try living with him!! LOL
He's got alot of points .. some of which I agree with, some of which I don't .. we analize and talk about things all the time even when neither one of us is in this forum. He's actually the one that told me the week that MJ “allegedly” died, that people were already talking about how he may have faked his death .. and bingo, rest is history, cuz I found this site .. of which we're both members. Before that I was a sucker like everyone else believing what the oh so mighty media thru at me .. from the O2 announcement to the ambulance picture. NOT anymore!!
I don't know .. I seem to keep an open mind without being too gullible .. gullible not meaning being stupid, but letting every possibility sink in and all the what if's. I agree with alot of you on here as far as everyone having the right to believe what they want. It's no one's fault if someone takes something so seriously that it's like totally overdramatized. I'm sure privately we roll things over in our heads and keep things to ourselves and don't share them with the forum, so we don't look like drama queens grasping at straws, least I do anyways. My hubby is probably the only one I share “way out” there things and he usually brings me down to earth, down to reality.
There really wasn't a big point to this post .. just commenting on his comment and letting you all know he's a card with a helluva sense of humor. Creative lil bugger isn't he? LOL

He's got alot of points .. some of which I agree with, some of which I don't .. we analize and talk about things all the time even when neither one of us is in this forum. He's actually the one that told me the week that MJ “allegedly” died, that people were already talking about how he may have faked his death .. and bingo, rest is history, cuz I found this site .. of which we're both members. I don't know .. I seem to keep an open mind without being too gullible .. gullible not meaning being stupid, but letting every possibility sink in and all the what if's. I agree with alot of you on here as far as everyone having the right to believe what they want. It's no one's fault if someone takes something so seriously that it's like totally overdramatized. Very good post. Thank you. Speaking of the camera thing…I was reading not too long ago about MJ supposedly being spotted in Canada being pushed in a wheelchair but the person writing that had their cell phone but couldn't get close enough because of the 'throngs of people' crowding MJ.
BS!!!!!! If that were really true someone in that 'throng of people' would have snapped a picture. Duh!

Some people have believed various sightings of MJ. Why? In this world that we live in almost every single person has a cell phone, and almost all of the cell phones have a camera. Yet someone spots MJ in Heathrow Airport (which just happens to be England's busiest airport with an abundance of CCTV cameras) all of a sudden nobody has a camera or a cell phone. At this moment I'd maybe accept a hand-drawn sketch as long as someone else would say it was close enough in likeness.
Then there was some 'fat' guy living above someone in Germany. I don't get it. MJ hides from the world, and first he picks Germany, then he decides to be fat, and finally he is carrying out garbage. I remember a little bit of that post “I could tell it was him by the way he walked”. Take it he wasn't carrying the usual amount of garbage people put out? And once again, although the person is at home no camera or cell phone.
When MJ was not hiding, and I truly do believe that he is hiding somewhere, he couldn't step out of the front door without a few hundred cameras being shoved in his face. Now he is in hiding everyone has forgotten how to take a picture?
Then we come to all the friends of MJ that have come on to the forum to give clues. Come on, you have to be kidding me.

First, thank you for your effort to spell and punctuate. Everyone makes typos but some of those with very long winded posts here do not even bother to try. I swear, I had to stop reading Keisha's 'good news' post the grammar was so bad – it made my eyeballs ache.
I agree with you – some are getting a little wacky and looking for meaning where this is none and I think thats because so much time has gone by. When Murray looked to be arrested you could feel how everyone on here just hit the floor. Then when the autopsy was delayed 'indefinately' you could feeel everyone rise up again. There is a lot of back and forth. And you can tell who is a grown up and who is not.
I got a kick out of the fat guy story too, the Peter Pan in the chat room, someone thought they were getting phone calls at home, and now Keisha's post is the latest in the 'no proof' stories. Seriously, when the subject of MJ comes up in a group I tell people, 'dont worry he's not really dead.” (People may think I'm nuts)That doesn't mean I have inside information and if someone said the same to me I wouldnt get into a tizzy and make mad posts on here. I would assume they are a fan who is as unmoved by this sham of an investigation as I am.
I dont think anyone should post these 'i know something' stories without a photo or some kind of proof. Everyone is tired of being dissapointed in hoping for something that goes nowhere. I am expecting any new news to die down for a bit, we may be hitting a lull while MJ eithr rests or prepares for a next step – if he even has one.
In the mean time I have been enjoying a couple videos on youtube devoted entirely to MJ's delicious gold pants. Ladies who may be dissapointed that JCC's August 1st turned into nothing – take five and console yourself.
