Thanks A.P.O.M.

I saw the “2040″ and I understand what is meant but the way Shikster said it, it sounds – to me – as if the date of MJ's death is written on the spaceship.

The date of his so called death………… The date we should be watching now is 10-30-2009.

Apologies Shikster – that's what I meant  the so-called date of death

I'm still waiting for my London Brick Man, I was serious about following a literal trail lol, you never see cool things like that anymore it's all reality tv cr*p nowadays, there's no imagination or magic anymore – well up until now that is.

From what I undestand, PT Barnum read his own obituary but he did not write it himself did he?  He had said that people say nice things about people once they die, so he wanted it to be run in the paper a few weeks before he knew he was going to die.  Maybe Michael did the same thing, and they are just waiting for him to die?  Maybe that's why they haven't buried him yet!  I hope not!

Here is an excerpt from Barnum's obituary:

“One of the requests made by Mr. Barnum was that, when all hope was gone, sedatives which would make his passage to the next world more peaceful be administered. About 4 o'clock this morning the veteran showman spoke his last words. He was asked if he wished a drink of water, and answered, “Yes.” Soon after he sank into a lethargy. It was difficult to arouse him from this state, and on opening his eyes a faint gleam of recognition alone indicated that he had knowledge of his surroundings, or knew those about him. All day long Mr. Barnum lay in a semi-unconscious state. About 10 o'clock the first sedative was administered, and repeated several times during the day.”

He apparently was also suffering from an illness, “died” with a dr by his side and ended up dying of heart failure.  Here's the link to the whole thing…

Another similarity from the Barnum obituary:

“None but the family and near relatives will be allowed to see the remains.”

Also from the obituary…

“Mr. Barnum's latest great personal triumph was won during his visit to England in the Fall of 1889 and Winter of 1890. The feat of carrying across the ocean his enormous show compelled the admiration of the English people. They forgot the Jumbo incident and received him with popular enthusiasm. All classes extended to him every possible honor, and his London season was a most wonderful and satisfying success.”

Wow, that is interesting portschica, I hadn't read the obit, thanks for posting the link.

There it is again, PT Barnum's death and Michael's 'death' have way too many similarities.

'About 10 o'clock the first sedative was administered' The first dose administered at 10am of whatever drug? Heart failure? A doctor by his side? Only family and close relatives can see the remains – specified by Barnum himself?
Seriously? Is it me or is Michael's 'death' reflecting huge parts of both Barnum and Elvis in ways that are too coincidental and similar to ignore?

@Another.Part.Of.Me

It's not just you. I think that many of us are starting to see the similarities as well. IMO there are too many to just rule out the “hoax” theory.

I don't know, there are some major similarities as well as minor ones between Elvis's death and Michael's 'death'. Someone put this brilliant link about Elvis's death in one of the earlier threads, let me see if I can find it. I think this is it: http://www.elvispresleynews.co…..offin.html and http://www.elvispresleynews.co…..humed.html

For Example, the 'massive heart attack'/cardiac arrest although in Elvis's case the drugs and addiction were genuine whereas MJ is probably the most clean living person ever [healthy eating, organic food etc.] – I don't believe all that about drug addiction and whatnot; the private viewing where Lisa Marie put the bracelet on the body; Forest Hills – Forest Lawn [that's reaching a bit, I admit]; the supposed 'last photo' looking like a much younger person (quote below from the last paragraph of the link I gave above), Elvis being the greatest entertainer of the time, the autopsy cover-up, this supposed 'cocktail of drugs' including Demerol, Propranolol etc and other similarities.

“that last picture of Elvis that his cousin took for the National Enquirer looks more like Elvis in his 20s. We have subpoenaed the Enquirer for the negative, in order to run a neutron activation analysis in order to determine the makeup of the object in the photograph”.”

Obviously the Barnum similarities are just as close to the MJ 'death' but Elvis was a huge inspiration for him too. I don't know, maybe I'm reaching for things which aren't there.

Yes to be honest I hadn't read these links before or known about the bracelet (sorry) but I've read so much my head spins.

It's odd, but it seems unlikely that Paris would have thought of that herself, (if the bit about LMP wanting a bracelet on her dad's arm is true) it's just toooooooooo much of a coincidence isn't it?

Although that could be down to LaToya, that could have been her idea as she would have read/known about the LMP thing so came up with this story thought it would be worth a few bucks and told Paris what to do, I can see LaToya now making this up as she goes along, excuse me if she has any fans on here but she is rather a fame hungry type individual with no morals.

I couldn't see that clearly the photo of Elvis in his casket but it looked to me like he had a double chin which I don't think he had when he was young but I think it's possible the same as it's possible about Michael.

Maybe that's why Michael married LMP to get the insight of what happened and this has been planned for years, he was waiting until the time was right (and in this case the time happened to be when he was in a lot of debt perhaps).

It's also coincidence that Michael was 50 and the concerts were numbered at 50 (or is that why they arrived at 50 concerts?)

You know we say he apparently was in a lot of debt but when you have $100 million, what is a few million of debt?

I like searching for things that aren't there as it keeps me going.

I do hope the LAPD are watching this site, wonder if any of anybody's theories are being looked into right now? and it's odd that NO paper wants to run with the story of a hoax death, maybe because none of them want to be the first in case they fall flat on their face if it isn't, but listen media men and women – you are all barking up the wrong tree.

No worries, I've read so much that it's hard keeping track of everything, head spinning is a good way of putting it

So much has been said and is being said about Michael that it is getting harder to separate fact from fiction unless we keep doing as we are doing on this site and debunking things as they come and factfiling threads on what we know for sure and what we can dismiss (this is a great thing to do because it keeps everyone up to speed on new developments as well as dismissing the cr*p – and keeps those threads pinned where we don't lose them).
I'm guessing that everyone is keeping tabs on this site including our own 'Brick Man' which is why we get so many 'developments' and 'updates' and 'exclusives' to supposedly answer our questions.

We only have LaToya's word that Paris put the necklace/bracelet on her dad's wrist, that could be complete rubbish for all we know, or it could be part of the hoax because we don't know anything else for sure, and face it, LaToya isn't exactly the most reliable source of info because of her actions in the past.  And how would Paris be able to go out and buy a necklace thing in the first place?

I like searching for things which aren't there too and trying to link things up because otherwise I think I'll go mad or something if I were to just stop.

Btw, when I go to save a new post now, I no longer have to do the little maths thingy that I had to do before which I quite liked lol, is there a reason for why it has gone?

There are a lot of things to do with Michael and Vegas aren't there?
He wanted to move to Vegas and buy or build a dream home. His sister Rebbie – who most people don't know - will be taking care of the kids lives in Vegas (I know it sounds weird because Katherine has custody but apparently Rebbie will be the one looking after them for the most part); before news about the London O2 residency broke out, a few years back there were rumours about Michael doing a residency in Vegas, not to mention he spent some time living there after quitting Neverland in 2005.

And now news of a tribute show in Vegas for his birthday – does this mean there won't be a Michael Jackson birthday tribute at the O2 as previously thought? This makes sense esp if his children are in attendance.

Yes, I heard about his plans for Vegas. That home was beautiful. It would be wonderful if Michael ends up living in that home.  Im not sure about the tribute at the 02 anymore. But I really think the tribute in Vegas is very fitting for Michael. He could definitely pull off the biggest show ever there.

Would love to chime in,

OP you said look at the cover, from what I got out of it:

Cover: Looks like a boy and his father (lets say if the title was coverd)

Title: “Barnum Prince of Showmen”

The definition of Showmen; 1.) A gifted entertainer: somebody, especially a man, who is naturally talented in dramatic presentation or entertainment

2.) A producer or promoter of a commercial, entertainment ventures.

Prince = His oldest son Prince, he was going to perform with MJ at his London concert.

and

Showman= Michael Jackson himself.

Which gives you – “Branum: The Prince and The Showman”

Just thought i add that touch lol.

I love this theory. So much seems to match! Here is another piece to add to the mix.

'At his death, most critics had forgiven him and he was praised for good works. Barnum was hailed as an icon of American spirit and ingenuity, and was perhaps the most famous American in the world'.

How many people have come out of the woodwork to say something nice about Michael or that what they said was not true….Martin Bashir, Jordan Chandler etc…

Well done Michael I believe you have pulled off a great Hoax to show the media up for what they really are – a bunch of liars who are only interested in selling their story and not telling the right story.

It's so weird that the circus was in town during all of this and actually had to be pushed back a day (if I remember correctly) so that the memorial could take place on Tuesday. Interesting. Why didn't they just have the memorial on Monday? There has to be a bigger reason for why they wanted it on Tuesday.

How about Edgar Allan Poe.  MJ wanted to make a movie about him and if you read the Wikipedia article about Poe it says he was into hoaxes among other things.  “Beyond horror, Poe also wrote satires, humor tales, and hoaxes. For comic effect, he used irony and ludicrous extravagance, often in an attempt to liberate the reader from cultural conformity”

You´re right – that´s the first thing I thought: what a tasteless exploitation!

But at second glance, it´s irritating how many of the involved people act noticable uncommon.

Randy Philips expresses his delight about his profitable deals barfaced in public.

Kenny Ortega sents euphoric twitter messages right from the start- and he is not the only one…

Everything seems a little too busy and unabashed, to be real – like preparation for a second act, maybe?…..

Don´t you think they would cover up their intentions a little more considering the “real” occasion?

Just a thought.
